Stalking on quad bikes? Goodness. That's deaf deer they're after?

OH has decided he's painting a cupboard - so I am letting him, now isn't that kind of me? I don't think he should be on a step ladder.

No telly out in the house nor phone & the radio is very crackly.
Can I get telly or radio thru the computer?

Just been paying off the CC accounts before 'the bells' and have spent the day tidying the house, as is traditional.

I won't be venturing out, the icy rain was stinging just now; I dare say some hardy folks will be loosing off fireworks later. That said, Dec has been so mild I've been caught out by too dry plants in the conservatory. They've perked up now, in fact one canna is in bud.

My 'livestock' all seem quite happy, despite having the blue 'moonlight' LED on their tanks (I have three now) the fishes are still racing about. Pretty sure the betta fish know that showing off will earn them a pellet.

A guid new year to ane an' a'

I've been away at the Outlaws. We had to do New Year yesterday, so it's a quiet night in for us! :o:D;)

As usual, I've done a dual-purpose yearly photo round-up for the family and you folks. Many pictures may not be of interest, but just pick & choose....or even ignore!

    Link now removed. Sorry!

    Meanwhile, a very
Happy New Year to all of you lovely people on this thread, contributors and lurkers alike! :A

IHS - I too have wielded a broom & duster, mopped & attempted to tidy, mended the trousers & turned hems that hanged loose, cleaned paint encrusted brushes. But there are things still amiss: drawers that are awry & letters not writ.
Happy New year non the less.

Dave what a fabulous photo diary many thanks for sharing. Gorgeous Grandchild - truly lovely images & the garden is a stunning rainbow & makes me sad that my pitiful attempts at gardening are so not worthy of photographing. It looks so healthy all the plants.

Badrick - my knight in shining armour I will press the link tomorrow - next year - when I am sober. I have broadband......sometimes.

Rummer - Happy New Year & a Great Planting Year To You.

Lucielle - Happy Hunting & New Year.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR DREAMERS.......
  • HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I just managed to stay awake to see the fireworks in London.. I must admit I was thinking what a waste of money. It must of cost huge amounts of money that could have been spent elsewhere..

Lovely photos.. I too am envious of your garden

Right a cuppa and a biscwit, and then start preparing the etsy orders I had last night...I have only got a few bits on there as a trial, to see if there is any interest, so for the month I have been on there, I think the early signs are, its worth giving it a go...

Well, that's that over for another year.

Pleased CTC that things are progressing on Etsy. Are you doing craft stuff?

Snowed a bit last night, but dry now.

I spilt a large tub of cream in the shed last night. The fridge is in there. Well it will have to be yoghurt with the pudding tonight.
