2016 starting on a low note for my with dad passing away in the early hours this morning. Ironically, he was always a stickler for staying up to see in the New Year!

He'd only taken poorly on Boxing Day and had been sleeping comfortably since Tuesday, so can't really complain at age 94.

However, he's not been very MSE and hadn't made a will, despite family requests. Doh!

IHS - sorry about your dad. Really good innings.

Hope that the lack of will isn't too complex & that everyone involved is in agreement of things. Makes it so much more civilised.

IHS Sorry to hear about your dad, my thoughts are with you and your family.

Dave Lovely photos, it has been quite a year for you!

Choille I am trying to declutter and and make our house a more relaxing space as well as catching up on all those jobs that have fallen by the wayside over the festive season.

Lucielle I hope your DS gets better quickly.

CTC It would be nice to have a link to your Etsy page, I shop on there often.

So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing, IHS.

Remembering my Dad, who died at the age of 95, you're right that not having him around will take some time to sink in, especially for Mum. They've had a remarkably long time together.
