Davesnave how's the panto script going learning your lines??
Oh....err... no one reads them, let alone learns any, until early December, when we have a read-through. That's just to check that everyone who's agreed they'll be in it is on-board. People have been known to visit Australia for 3 months....:rotfl:

Then we get going in January. As I'm the baddie this year, I shall have to choose an accent that fits, but I can only think of Cockney - something like Phil Mitchell perhaps? Either that, or I shall have to do posh and disdainful for the umpteenth time.:o

    Any ideas?

Plumber has a valve to order. Great the speed of progress around here is sh*t.

Sh*t minus 5 here. :( That's the number of days since our plumber said he'd get back to us about coming to connect-up.

Still no word from the electricians either.

In both cases they've had the bulk of their money, of course.:o

It was 12.7c in here tonight when I came into my office after Strictly. It's made it to 17.4c, so I am positively basking now!

Nice walls CTC :THow are you fixing the 'boards?'

Hope you gave my love to Bath, alfie. I don't miss it...much, and certainly not the traffic! :p

It clouded-over here in the afternoon and the wind dropped, but I'd got a good fire going by then, so I managed to burn all the tomato and pepper plants as I cut them down in the polytunnel. Winter has definitely arrived now they've gone. As if they knew it, I also saw a Mistle Thrush and a Redwing, though the most reliable indicator is that I have long johns on!:rotfl:
Pete came over at dusk to look his sheep over and seemed pleased. He's taking the bulk of them away for lambing soon, but those only recently served by the ram will be going on holiday to Horse Woman's field first. I have the promise of logs on Monday, but I know they'll be wet. Still, they'll be great in November 2016. :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
You should have brought dogs here and left them Alfie, picked them up on way back!

    CTC , that looks great!

Not much news here. Why did the roof leaks get mentioned? Huh? We lost a down pipe and some stuff in the wind and rain. Temp repairs for now. :) But did force us to get rid of the wisteria and seriously cut into the incredible creeper here. Somethings are really horrid work.

Otherwise.....I'm going days at a time where I only put boots on to do the birds and take the dogs out right now.

Well, there's an offer I can't refuse! :rotfl:

Mmmmmmm... I think if it was a recognisable MB I might be too scary, not that there's much danger of the two of us being confused in a physical sense! :o

Shrek????? He wasn't really bad though. Wasn't much of an accent either!! :rotfl:

Actually, it's been proved that many people consider a Scottish accent reassuring. :A

Must admit I quite like the idea of a rabid Rab C Nesbit:

"See you, see me, see the Ogre here....he'll gie yous all a nut cutlet!"
