CTC - Why not use ebay for jeans?I like acertain brand & know what size fits & I get mineoff ebay -save a blubby fortune.

As I am sort of between sizes, I could pick up various brand s all the same size and some would fit, some would be too small, and some would fit around the crack of my ar&rse due to the style of them lol

I will def use eBay in the future for clothes etc

    Good for...you...IHS.Nice.....Pot.
  • No Alfie we own 5 and a bit acres, it was a couple of acres rented grazing I lost, but have got somewhere else sorted instead. I still own whatever animals the farm has, I provide feed etc, because they can't afford to buy or even feed any livestock. I think they said staff are working a day week for nothing just to keep things going, it's that tough for them ATM.

They had just taken some finished pigs to slaughter maybe a few weeks ago, so guess they were yours CTC but they had at least one other adult that they couldn't keep and as I said they aren't in a position to buy any more, that's what I meant when I said they had to get rid of all the pigs/ livestock.

But in order to be a farm and have reasons for people to visit and learn they need animals so I'm happy for mine to be there and I hope to get more involved with the farm activities and fund raising and the like. It's funny I used to do a lot of voluntary work before we lived here, I guess I just needed to find the right place to get involved.

I seem to be in town more and more, today for pleasure, yesterday for work and got to go in again Tuesday, unfortunately going back to the dentist for another filling. I'm am very grateful to have an NHS dentist but I think we get the newly qualified students who only stay a year - the last one was just lovely but the one I've seen recently is awful. I hate/dislike the dentist at the best of times but being extra stressed lately I seem extra sensitive to the whole thing, and this new dentist has no bedside manner, no empathy, I don't think she knows how to handle nervous patients tbh. Oh well hopefully this will be the last visit til the next check up!

Just realised I'm still in my fleece and thermal walking trousers, I came in an hour ago and I'm not even warm, my feet are still freezing too! Time to move, get dinner on and snuggle in for the night.

I dread to think how cold it must be for choille and Dave without the proper protection of a fully functioning house with heating and insulation!!! Keep warm you guys, and thanks for the tip on jeans Choille, I will def be trying that soon, I wear them to death!

I put a hebredian ewe back up the hill to chummy up with the lamb. It will be an aunt - yesterday. Crow is so good she trotted up the main road with some feed in a jug held in my hand & I brought both her & her neice back down & inby this afternoon. I'd spent hours up there the last few days. It took minutes this afternooon- a brief 15 minute walk or so.

Sorry you lost your grazing FK. If you have sheep you do need to be able to move them I find.

The heating willbeworking once the valve is fitted. Seemsthe ex plumber made a real muckupsoit's all remedialwork.
