Dave - good for you being in touch with your ex. How nice you are. It will be good for her to hear from folks she hasn't done in a while - very comforting.
Trailed into see about the computer, but he hasn't fixed it yet. He wanted us to wait around for a couple of hours, but I really doidn't want to as I am really not happy as it's weeks he's had it.He hasn't fixed the new computer and you deserve a full refund. To be honest, you should have rejected it as not fit for purpose as soon as it went wrong, but I understand you are limited to a very few suppliers, which is probably why he's still in business!
Ex GF was mostlya friend, but was proper GF for a while. We went through uni together, shared the same night owl habits and could often be found helping each other with essays at 3am.....or just drinking a bottle of plonk and listening to meaningful music!:rotfl:I can't believe she's 64, but then I can't believe I'm 66.:o
Perhaps I'll wake up and find this is all an extended hallucination brought on by cheap vino.....:whistle:0 -
I know exactly what you mean about time going by so quickly.. When I was younger I always used to look forward, now I look back lol
Choille, yes eggs are fine for dogs, but in small amounts so not to ' bung' them up so to speak..
She farts like a trooper anyway lol
Can't you buy a computer online from curry's, Argos etc???Work to live= not live to work0 -
Time does fly past so quickly and I am often shocked by the face looking back at me from the mirror, in my head I am still 21 however the reality is not as youthful :rotfl:
It is so lovely Dave that the two of you have kept/got back in touch. The conversation I am sure will have lifted her spirits.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -

Lovely Lola CTC let's hope she doesn't drop an egg on Mr CTC shoulder....
Goodness she does seem to have grown even tho she is neve gonna be big.
The laptop keeps going blue screen & I just have to bang on the keys but it's bette than being without a link to the outside world.
I am peed off about the computer guy. OH has to deal with him as I will lose the place I think. I am really not a happy bunny about it as he's messing us about & I don't have much confidence in it. He's had it for about 6 weeks I think so far. It never worked right from the start.
Dave & Rummer - time flies by - It's scaring me how fast this year has gone.0 -
Yep she has grown, and so has the naughtiness lol, she is wicked, but very loving...
How is the bay with you now??? I am finding I get ' batches' of sales all within a few hours of each other, then nothing for a few days, then another batch of sales??? OK kids have been on ho!idays, and we have had Halloween and bonfire night, but getting a bit butt twitching its so quiet.. Got about 50 plus items on there, think I will have to list a few hundred for the law of % kicks in re amount of sales....
Sh!the day here again re- weather, looks like its in for another few days yetWork to live= not live to work0 -
Very wet here today which is disappointing as we have to fold up the tent which we bundled into the shed after our last trip. It needs to be taken out so we can put the bikes out into the shed for the winter. Plus we never got round to patching the felt on the shed roof so that needs done too. The grass we will just not mention
However on a positive note the internal works are progressing well and we have plans for the job we are going to tackle nextTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
