    Hi Cuddlymarm - welcome.

I have a Canadian friend who does that snowbirding thing- well Canada will be cold.

I do think that the weather is gettinhg wetter & that is not good.

Grey here but dry & a bit cold - mind you it's getting prepared fo IHS scenario that worries me. As you say - stay cheerful!

    hi all...

I bought a coat on the bay [arrived today]and twas described as shearling sheepskin, expensive,as new blah blah...
is it **** ! cheap old china faux thing ... of course I then checked sellers feedback and she has a record for this ! some haven't got what they bought from her, others had to get the bay to refund... poop ! that'll teach me .....

half the field shelter is up after they "got lost" getting here and turned up at midday ! so back tomorrow... I had a day off to do heathrow trip but that's afternoon so will make sure they arrive in the morning at 9 am as arranged !! I reckon them be from down Davey boys way....;)

got home to find id stuck a wrong coloured item [new face flannel ] in the wash and I now have pinky coloured sheets:eek:

they say things happen in threes.... well that's my quota sorted !

apart from that, the sun came out this afternoon and was really quite warm !

:eek:Hi Alfie -sorry that you had that. You can send it back for refund but it's a faff & annoying. There does seem to be a load of Chinese rubbish that you have to trawl through before you even see your own listings - someone will be trying to off-load their mistake - possibly.

Had a slow day but OH seems to think it would be okay to get back someone who made a muck of things here & has taken so long to sort out. I've hit the roof as I can't believe he would even consider that. But seems it's all oganised!

Devonshire Stables be near us and there's another company at Beaworthy, but no one really knows where that is; it's sort of south and west of everywhere. :D;)

Oh, and there's Brookridge, where I get my fence posts, but they're the wrong side of the M5 to be 'proper' Deb'n. :p

Mr Rod made great progress today, but he took the guttering downpipes off and we have heavy rain forecast for tonight!

At least we re-covered the shed roof just in time, only with some free DPC someone gave us, but it will do the biz for the short time the shed's remaining in its present position.

Good with the progess - we had no down pipes for ages- until recently - few weeks back. It'll be okay Dave - just get a bit wet around about. You can put big buckets unde the hole where the down pipe should be if you're worried.

The wind seems to be really billowing up - quite big gusts. Don't like the wind at all.
