Oh, huge news. Did I mention the mulberry had a berry on it this year? We ate half each, it was delicious.....if a meagre offering, but still, A MULBERRY! And today, we ate our own peaches, oh yes, our own peaches. Tiny things they are, but delicious.0

ive just had an email saying ive sent via paypal a payment for Skype ? £64 !! it hasn't gone out of my account so im guessing its a con  it says click on this link if not correct and that just asks for my details .... no chance hose' .. if it DOES go from my account I will take up a complaint... so be aware of this con [if it is] folks..
Definitely a con, I reported to Paypal a few weeks back, who confirmed it was a phishing email and advised to delete it and certainly don't try doing anything via the link within the email.."We could say the government spends like drunken sailors, but that would be unfair to drunken sailors, because the sailors are spending their own money."

Hi RAS -will try that.
OH did take a wheel chair to go round IKEA. That was an exhausting few hours & I cannot wipe the experience away easily. It's too much being indoors with no outside view even.
The sunset was glorious tonight.
It was amazing seeing all the people - I didn't realise that there are all these folks everywhere. The roads are really busy too.0 -

That's partially balanced by August being a quiet month on the land.
I don't mind going into Exeter, but I'm happier coming out of it.:p
As cities go, it's not bad, but I often view it as a tricky puzzle in the way of progress south. Beside it lies Dartmoor; another huge blob which restricts progress, especially at this time of year.
Between them, Exeter and Dartmoor are the two things which, in the absence of a fast north-south link, keep this area relatively unexplored.
Cant have it both ways!0 -
Morning all
CONGRATS.. On your mulberry!!!!! So romantic sharing it.. I had visions of the scene where tom and Barbara ( from the good life) dress up in a dinner suit and evening dress and share their fist ever egg lol..
Well after rushing to get the floor all dug out, for the builder yesterday, no show!!!! When hubby phoned him, there must have been crossed wires, as he thought we were going to phone him when it was all dug out ( well that's the excuse he said) so I think he is coming tomorrow now...
At to top it all the old water pipe coming into the house has started dripping, so we have put a tap on the outside of the house, and will re new the pipe and fittings...Work to live= not live to work0 -

Morning all,
What a diff a day makes, lovely yesterday, piddling it down today.. This hasn't been a nice summer, unless we get a Indian summer in sept/ October then I think it's going to be a long drawn out winter..
FK, I was thinking, are you ' officially ' unemployed' ?? If so, and you sign on, there might be start up grants available to you to start your bespoke glass splash back project?? Obviously these days start up grants etc are getting few and far between, depending on your local council etc, but def worth looking into..also try the welsh craft council etc as you might be able to get reduced stall fees etc at big events as I think they have areas for their members in big events..
Might be worth you finding a part time job while you try and get it off the ground. Or go self emp!oyed selling on eBay.. I thought you were doing well with the pigs and selling pork?? You could try and do farmers markets with your pork??
Right a cuppa, and back to listing on the bay!!
Edit..... Fk, do you fancy meeting up for a cuppa???Work to live= not live to work0 -
Lol, watched this all the way through, the auction if the one of the ones we go to, Alfie this is the one we took you too, I think they run the price up on that cockerel, as they normally only go for 50 p lol
