She's lovely....well, they all are, aren't they?
Ours are proper little cats now, so they get about all over the place, but they stay a respectful distance from the road. I hope that continues...Growing up during all the building work, they aren't bothered by noises like drilling and hammering, or by strangers coming in.
Our other two led such sheltered lives, they would freak out if a window cleaner with a ladder walked past! :rotfl:
We moved back into our proper kitchen today. The walls are a mess, it's still missing a window and all the power points on one side have gone, but it has a ceiling again, with no nasty boxed-in beam hanging down blocking the light, and it's larger. We can't fit it out for another 6 months or so, by which time it'll be warm enough to return temporarily to the unheated Den.

Yes, it's probably the most worrying bit of the build out of the way. I shall get up above and put the insulation back now.
I thought we might get top-up insulation from the government-funded scheme via our power company, but when I read their detailed terms, I discovered they only do it if there is 100mm or less. I think our insulation's more than that.
At any other time of year I'd whip it out and hide it in the barn. (:o)
But knowing my luck, if I did that they'd say, "OK we'll put some in for you around the end of February." :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
For the record they don't give you the insulation if you have bats either.0
