Good you got on with the plaster boarding Dave. We ran out of th e'right' sort of screws & sent out for some. Mate came with ......the same sort me had...So didn't get the other half done.
Trying to get stuff done before going off tomorrow for a few days.
Fell today - slid on a green slidey bit of ground. I'll be sore tomorra. Just as well I'll be sat down looking out of a windscreen for most of the day.
Hope the cold gets gone soon Alfie.
Temp here up & down like a ferret down a rabbit hole. Heard loads of shots earlier on - maybe some one shooting guisers/ or are they called trick or treaters now? How American are we getting.0 -
morning all,
what a night!! the rain and wind were horrible...bright and clear now though..
Mammy pig number 2 is a lot better... back to her normal self,
I am back home at house no1 this morning.. going to start having a major blitz, will take a long time, as we are hoarders lol.. and 2 teenage boys have more or less lived here on their own for the last 6 plus months ( grime city)
thanks for the info re-pumpkins.. the plants will have LOADS of room to grow...as they will not be in the main garden area...Work to live= not live to work0 -
Pumpkins - don't grow them in a polytunnel = it's like the day of the trifids.
If you write on them when they are wee it grows & stretches - like a tree carving.0 -
Saw something weird going on up in the village last night. Took us a while to get bearings and for a while we thought it might have been lamping, but then it looked like it was definitely on outskirts of the village. So we relaxed and went to bed. I woke at four though, and the lights were still there. Pretty sure I saw blue flashing lights too.
. No noise at all though.

Our courgettes have been more productive than squash, I think. They are still producing....or they were. I'm not too sure what tonight's wind will have done to them!
Lucielle, do you drive something fragile? Must admit I broke both front springs on mine, but the alloys are intact.
