ive completed all my tasks for today ! phew... need more hours in the day at the mo.
im eyeing up an area for veg when the goosies are moved.. ive actually been tipping grass cuttings in a heap of what was a veg area and .... ive got asparagus coming through it !! didn't even know it was there and im amazed the grass heap heat didn't kill em ?0 -
Hope everyone has had a good day and that you've recovered from your broken night's sleep LIR?
I'm feeling pooped after all that painting and was hoping to get back on track in the garden with planting veg tomorrow, but have just seen the weather forecast which looks pants
First peony flowers have opened and I found another (albeit quite tiny) clump of Solomon's Seal near the pondLoads of clumps of wild garlic have appeared in the *woodland* garden and some of the established roses planted by the PO are on the verge of flowering. Every day we seem to discover new delights here - more Hostas at the back of one border was another find today.......
Pooper scooper in the dishwasher.......mmmm, lovely, BD :eek::eek:Mortgage-free for fourteen years!

First evening of this year it's kept a bit warmer with me. Needless to say the slugs and snails came out, so have been prowling the garden with torch and snips.
Anyone know what this is? Self seeded last year, lost its leaves over the winter.0 -
