That's possibly because you are using Internet Explorer, the latest version of which isn't compatible with MSE.
It's the reason I switched to Firefox.0 -
ahhh! now that rings a bell.... I think you told me that "early doors" and I WAS firefox ... having said that ive just paid out for this set up and don't want to pull the plug and mess it up....yet
Downloading Firefox won't mess up your new system. You can have both browsers on the same machine. In fact, with a new machine, you should get a pop up asking you to make a choice. I did.
I have IE and Firefox sitting there at the bottom of the screen, but I just don't use one of them any more. On the old machine I had Opera and Chrome too.
But I know what you mean. New computer is like newish car: all good behaviour for about a week! :rotfl:0 -

Thanks Rummer we do hope to be able to rearrange the weekend away. It's just trying to tie up a date that is OK for the friends we are visiting, the friends who are looking after the animals here and Mr BD's leave. I've started off some tagetes and tomatoes indoors but they really need to go outside as they are getting leggy. Trouble is that it is so chilly this March.
Mr BD seems to be a bit better this morning, getting a good night's sleep with the help of the magical lemsip seems to have helped. I'm exhausted, think I am fighting it off (hopefully) and had to do more since Mr BD has been ill.
Raining here too CTC, dull and miserable, hope it will brighten up.It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

Another vote for [STRIKE]Crap[/STRIKE] whoops!...C Cleaner.
The only thing to watch on Major Geeks is that you are actually downloading the thing you want, and not something placed on the same page. The layout is terrible.
Having once had a drive-by infection, I use No Script, as well as the usual anti virus stuff. (And no, that's not something picked up through hanky-panky in a lay by!:rotfl::cool:)

Well it's chucking it down here, and windy, luckily I got the animals done before it started
now I'm hiding indoors with tea and biccies watching the F1
it's peeing down there, thunder and lightning too! Don't think they'll be running for a while.
I will have to do more outside but I can be under cover, hopefully fixing my propagator and setting it all up, I might even get some seeds started! I'm going to lay the cable in closer runs in one area to get the temp up so the toms etc germinate better, they were slow last year.
the cable arrived yesterday but I had a vet run to do, sheep with a prolapse, the one with the big lamb I had to deliver. She's ok, prognosis is good and the vet even thought she could carry on as a breeding ewe...I had thought she might be for the freezer
I've also got an Easter egg tree to assemble, I've painted a load of goose eggs, I want to decorate a few then I just need to thread the ribbons through. I won't be putting the tree up til the weather improves, I'm hoping it entices more customers, along with the new planting scheme out the front.
Mind you egg sales have been doing very well on their own and I've had lots of new people knocking at the door, the goose sign has done the trick! Walking back from the pub last night I could see it from a few hundred yards away, even with rain on my glasses :rotfl:0 -
morning all. its drizzly and windy here, very overcast. I put up a double fence separating the geese yesterday. I tried a single but they both had a go and ended up wrapped in the fence [used that twine/wire electric stock fencing stuff ...not on!!] so I bought chicken wire and ran a parallel fence with 3ft gap... seems to have worked.. someone asked how rhiwi was, last we had contact he is fine but family have had some health problems. hes busy selling on his web/bay. mum decided to take the "rural" bus [goes twice round the gas works] into lymington this morning, im picking her up at 12.30 to go see dad. was going to do a boot sale tomorrow but what with the hour loss and the weather im not that much a glutton for punishment.... so im gonna light the fire and spend the day listing stuff on the bay... unless I get a better offer0
