Can I join in?
I went out to do the chooks this morning and it smelled like summer. All the seedlings in my dining room are poking their heads out and I'm starting to get excited.
Feeling quite satisfied with me three bed semi. A long way off from a small holding but it's an interesting challenge to see how much we can produce from our little suburban plot0 -
Welcome MandM90
.
Its wonderful this time of year, huh? I have NO window seedlings this year and it feels really sad. But the outside is really feeling like its ready to roll now......0 -

Nothing wrong with a semi plot. We ran a business from ours for years.0 -

I know what you mean. When I was in Brum I had to use one of those tablets to see what you were all up to, but it was too painful to type with it.
Even my DD, who is reasonably tech-savvy, told everyone a week ago she won't be replying to emails until she has a 'proper' laptop again.
The head electrician eventually arrived here today and seemed genuinely surprised his apprentices had cut our lights off in the bedrooms. He also wasn't very pleased that a ring main cable which should have been dead was live. He damaged his expensive pliers cutting it! :rotfl:
Meanwhile.... I had a call from the loft insulation people, who were full of apologies as they'd run out of finance for the current tax year. That didn't surprise me, but I wanted reassurance that we'd still be eligible. I got that, plus an promise that the work would be re-scheduled to the end of April. That's OK, because the longer we have to sort everything in the loft the better.0 -
I find the tablet us great for listing on the bay, easy and quick....
piddling it down here,
builder is at the ranch tomorrow and the weekend doing some work, with hubby helping to keep the cost down... the work being done will make a load of difference...

Wish I'd read about the willow water earlier - just planted a small raspberry plant from the pound shop. Worth a try for a quid, eh?
Seedlings coming on a treat. Potted some new strawberries today. Feeling generally excited about summer!0 -

Its funny, the lilAc has has buds on ALL winter. I reckon had we had a better cold spell earlier it might have leaved up earlier maybe? But these buds have got cold so they are only swelling now. Lilacs always seem to lead the procession. I love lilacs. By the time they are out giving privacy its warm enough to be top less in the garden.
( nota bene, must plant lots more lilac....everywhere) :rotfl:0 -
Ctc... this tablet was a freebie ! Basic sums up its skills :rotfl: son has returned car :j with fuel  he's off to hawaii in just over a week ! Alright for some ... his girlfriend + mum are doing some triathlon competition there and 'mum' has paid for him to join them.... all I ever got was a free trip to the IOW0
