I've been called an old goat before but never realised it was true :p

FWIW it's the seller's responsibility to get the goods to you, though that might be tempting fate atm!!

Re horseriders I agree that some people are selfish whatever vehicle or animal they are in charge of. As a class we notice that cycle riders are getting more aggressive..there are frequent cycle races here co-mingling with normal traffic, we saw two near crashes in one day where cyclists were so intent on the race that firstly, they narrowly missed an emergency ambulance that all other traffic had stopped for and secondly, entered a dual carriageway without looking causing traffic to brake sharply

The bay has been rather slow & I keep meaning to look at doing a website, but I wouldn't know where to start.

In the end we decided against the build your own option and invested a quarter's profits into employing a web design company to do it for us based on our specifications.

We're pretty happy with the result but it wasn't cheap and anyone website savvy could do it cheaper using say EKM or one of the many site design packages like Godaddy. Ebay may be a PITA, but even after many recent mishaps it still gets a huge amount of traffic dedicated to buying, something a standalone site will have difficulty achieving.

Where's everyone today???

Chap who is doing the work on our house has now 'gone off sick' - well I sent him away as he has a stinking cold and I certainly don't want it!!! Told him not to come back till Monday. But he did drain down the heating system and flush it out earlier this week and it's a lot quieter now and the rads are nice and hot. :D

My dahlia's are still flowering, do I need to dig them up now as it is so wet?

Now posting on my lappy with the new HDD, seems it is sorted out now as I finally got the drivers installed in the right order.

Anyone seen the first episode of season 5 of TWD? Just watched it :eek::eek:
Not for those with a delicate constitution. I think my heart rate is still up.:o:o:o Very dark start to the episode.......

Your website does look very professional indeed Rhiwfield.

I missed a Woman's Network free day doing internet selling stuff = It was free, but I only saw the advert for it the day after.....I usually read the previous weeks paper when I'm setting the wood burner & read it as I can't bear to burn owt I haven't read!
The afternoon was all about 'driving traffic' So that would have been useful.
Someone is driving someone's sheep down here to cause bother. It's all silly games at the mo & is so annoying. Really cold wind today but managed to get some wood cut.

Sorry, The Walking Dead

Zombie apolcolypse, but very well done. Started off on Channel 5 here IIRC but now on pay TV (and other sites too).

We only have freeview too but there are, ahem, ways and means......

TWD is basically about how people survive (or don't) when all structure of society disintegrates, and to make it interesting when people die they re-animate and have an unhealthy taste for the living. I don't like the gory stuff, but the characterisation is very good, and the story lines keep me interested. They also kill off some of the major people so you're never quite sure who is for it next. Some of it is a bit far fetched, but a lot of it is believable and unpredictable.

I must admit I was a bit dismissive of zombie stuff until 28 Days Later and now TWD. Hooked now :o:o:o

Oh and I've found this nifty little free calculator which works out how much oil you are using and the cost per day, litre per day, total cost and what you have left in the tank file:///E:/EnCalcOU/Help/index.htm
