I am a total sucker for gardening and kitchen gadgets. Have racked my brains hoping to find a plausible use for this gadget. Thanks for the offer but I will pass. Think my secateurs or kitchen scissors will do anything this will do. Don't have cut flowers very often!0 -
Sleety day here & grey.
Pleased with trial paint, but is showing up flaws in the plaster work so that will need filling/sanding.
Done little here but went for hay & did some photoing.

Dave, there isn't a fashion for shorts among the posties here either. It is just Mr BD liking showing off his short hairy legs :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Advice please.
We have a brick fireplace with a stove fitted. The brick has been painted and doesn't look very nice. I was going to get it plastered, but that money now needs to be spent on the leaking chimney:(:(
So we'll re-paint the brick. What paint would you recommend, do I need a special sort of paint? (BTW - that paper went pretty soon after we moved in - it made the room so dark ) There is also a dark wood mantlepiece, which I think we will just paint white for now.It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

I remember the painted brick, I like it.
Gets sooty doesn't it? I like that's too, but others probably won't , so something wipe down able but matt. Our kitchen brick is just painted with the same pain as the plaster work.0
