Re willow in hedge rows.....we have a lot here too, and frankly, it puddles me off.


Not sure whether that can enter the food chain, but I'd want to know if my stock was self medicating! For us it means lots of extra fencing.

hi all...... well i mowed my lawns today and did some cutting back [dead stuff] im a bit hesitant in pruning yet incase we get hard frosts/snow next day !:o ive got buckets of mixed seed from all the wedding wheelbarrows and flower tubs. im just going to throw it willynilly and see what comes up if you want any LIR/CTC/anyone i can bring/send some. ideal for a corner for colour and madness.;)

BUT it also has its rewards the amount of change I have picked up and put into my saving tin is amazing, this also includes hubby lol


while going through cleaning, sorting, bagging stuff to chuck etc I found our wedding photo album... flipping heck I know I had put weight on, but standing infront of our bedroom wardrobe mirrors and looking at the pictures really made me feel awful ..so a bit of healthy eating is in order, the exercise is covered by sorting this house out lol

Did 2 sessions in front garden this afternoon, sitting in a white plastic chair...

Chopped more of the lavender "hedge" so it's looking a bit tidier, but still need to get at the garden (as opposed to the drive) side of it so the spring bulbs have a bit of a chance. Pruned about 1/3 of the ornamental quince. The bit I've done looks so much better! :j Just need to get the remaining 2/3 done, dig up a load of valerian (it's gone berserk out there! :eek: ), prune the 2 rose bushes, prune a load of other bushes, weed the paving, and we'll be done! :rotfl: Can barely walk now, hips very sore, off to bed with a hot water bottle to look at seeds on laptop and watch TV.
