I rarely see ads, because most of the telly is recorded on PVR, so we just fast forward through 'em!
But yes, DD2 did making clothing for trees in public places, though it wasn't knitted. The idea was to make it as natural as possible and then observe/film people's reaction (or non reaction).
She's well-bonkers! :rotfl:0 -

Morning all,
haven't been out yet, but it looks as though everything is frozen solid... stupid thing is the gritters were out last night when it was raining, so I should imagine a lot of the grit has washed to the side of the road, or down the drain....
a few things have sold between Christmas eve and now, so will pack and post then out tomorrow.. so will try and put some more things on there over the next few days...
going to clear out the building stuff in the kitchen part of the ranch and then make a start on the floor....might take some chalk up with us, measure the rayburn we have... and start planning on where things will go... while the walls are bare..plus work out where the power points are going to go on that wall. all the power points and switches are going to go on the one wall, that we are tongue and grooving, so we can hide all the wires etc. I don't really want any sort trunking on the exposed stone walls if I can help it....Work to live= not live to work0 -
CTC...... i reckon thats a brilliant idea, once you can see a "port in the storm" you will get your bearings [and a picture in your mind] and that will make you enthusiastic to push on room by room.0

First hard frost overnight here, conservatory frost-stat kicked in to keep the plants from getting chilled. Now a lovely sunny day but I must clear the garage so I can get the car inside to avoid it getting iced-up.0

Seasons Greetings :snow_laug
I hope you are all having a lovely festive season so far! We all really enjoyed Rumlets first Christmas and he had a terrific time ripping up paper and trying to grab all the shiny ribbons :rotfl:
I am going to be cheeky and as some gardening questions even though my posting has been sporadic
My sister is looking for a low decorative hedge and was thinking of a box type hedge (?) but I seem to rememeber some can smell a bit unpleasant, what would be good to use? It is a sheltered and sunny sight.
Also in the same spot she would like a small decorative tree and was considering an acer or willow, which would be better and are there any recomended online suppliers.
The last question is what evergreen trees/shribs would grow to about 6 ft and cover an anpleasant fence in a sunny yet exposed area?
Thank you!Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -

I suppose there is a slight smell if you crush the foliage, but I wouldn't call it unpleasant. A bigger issue may be box-blight if the virus is in the area. What about lavender ?small decorative tree and was considering an acer or willow, which would be better
Willow needs plenty of water and can get big, acers are fussy and don't really like full sun in my experience. I would consider Amelanchier lamarckiiThe last question is what evergreen trees/shribs would grow to about 6 ft and cover an anpleasant fence in a sunny yet exposed area?
