    I've been Money Tipped!
Fir is only working for two more days, I have a meeting tomorrow and I need more stocking fillers for him, so its going to have to be sneaky shopping while we're out together.

Plumber came too & has started on pipework & is grumbling about all the clutter - mind you I have filled up the house with stuff.....as you do. No where else to store it.

Glad to hear it is coming on choille.

How much longer before you could use it as a bolt-hole if the weather got bad?

And bet the plumber would grumble anyway?

  • well, that went well...hahaha not!! (well depending on how you look at it)

went to hobbycraft, to buy 2 biscuit maker things, one for my mother for Christmas, and one for me, as the old one I got now got a bit missing...

the woman in hobbycraft said they never had them in stock ( Seen them in there a while back) so I phoned hubby, and he went on their website, and they supposed to have had ne in stock... anyway while hubby was searching on line he found a better one, at more or less half the price, so came home, ordered 2, and they will be here tomorrow

might have a proper nose around he website later...

also wanted a 1000+ jigsaw for step father, but by the time i asked about the biscuit maker etc.. i had enough, so if you know of any good sites that do jigsaws, at a good price.. i would be greatful for links...

by the time i got out of the shop the enterprise park where it was, was heaving, so came home...

If the weather got bad?????? The weather is disgusting. Found a sheep dead this morning. The weather is relentless & the condition seems to be just dropping off them. Their backs are always wet. It's depressing.

The plumber will work this week with his mate & we'll see how far things get along. At least we have the wood-burner in the caravan.

CTC - never heard of a biscuit maker before - I just use an upturned glass to cut out, but haven't made biscuits for a long time. Not enough room really.

I haven't got the Christmas bug, I never do. I really don't like it at all. Bah Humbug.

I know it has been dire up with you; amazed you did not lose the roads again. I was thinking of 2010 when you were posting piccies of deep deep snow and I was think OH might struggle in that with his problems?

Wish the sheep situation was better; is there anywhere they can get out of the wet?

I hope things go well with the plumber.

I have the tup in with some pure breeds, but have some seperated & there's only the one byre. So the ones not with the tup are out in the cold. It's terrible, but they are a hardy breed. It's just so wet & has been for so long really.

OH can hardly walk at the mo so I don't know what would happen if we got snow. He just struggles on & doesn't whinge, unlike me!
