How are you this morning choille?
OK I hope, that sort of thing can really knock the wind out of you emotionally as well as physically. Its not so much the action, but the ill feeling behind it which is so unpleasant.

Was wet here overnight Dave - was it your rain on its way east, or have you been unlucky and more rain followed?

Days are so short now, only got one egg yesterday, but still, we haven't had to buy any eggs for nearly a year now so cant complain.

Mr BD has rigged up a tarp up over the chicken coop to give a bit more protection, but the chucks are rather suspicious and now race out of the coop as if the hounds of hell were after them :) But on the plus side for them my 'cat lady' neighbour very kindly got them some grapes from the market for them yesterday. So they had grapes, corn and spaghetti for their breakfast snack this morning :D:D:D

Anyone see this on the BBC website
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-berkshire-30518983

Sink hole in a garden in Berkshire - given the childish behaviour of MP's during PMQ's perhaps the best thing to do would be to fill it up with politicians.....

And then the homeowner could use the thermal store of hot air to heat their home.

The insurers assessors are still 'deciding' - which doesn't bode well for the owner.

Just a thought, choille, though it would be a small added expense.....

After I was last abused verbally by Mr Dog, I got myself a small, dictphone-like voice recorder, which I carry with me when working at his end. I just set it up on a post near his place and get on with whatever I'm doing. It's surprising what a boost to confidence it is, having the power to record whatever happens. ;)

So far, nothing has, but then Mr Dog has been behaving well. :A
It's probably a coincidence, but it's been like this ever since the leader of the District Council, a dog owner himself, moved in nearby......

Rain's more or less continuous here, Better Days, as is strong wind, but it's not heavy rain and the wind direction is more favourable today. We shall be closed-up again by tonight, all bar the window opening. :D

Looks like a mild, if damp, Christmas. :)

Well, I didn't get a great sleep. It's rained down most of the night.

I phoned the police yesterday & gave a run through on the phone, but they are coming this morning. I am still really shook up as it was all a bit 'surprising'. I think she has a bit of a reputation for this sort of thing.

Goodness - a Christmas card & being knocked to the ground in the same day. Things haven't been this exciting since the school bring & buy sale!

Glad you spoke to the police; no-one should get away behaving like that.

Are you OK other than shook up (bruises etc)?

Dave - we are on almost horizontal rain here so I understand your problem.

Got home last night and walking past a neighbours realised their front window had been forced. Knocked and police were there; have been lax about security lighting so this am set up two on timers to make the place look lived in in the early evening.

By morning it won't be an issue, because the outer wall will be solid by then and the window will go back. :D We've just been in the middle of the clouds for two days, so it's mainly that fine, penetrating rain, rather than downpours.

We're due heavy rain tonight, and it's blowing a real hoolie right now, but according to the Met Office, alfie has worse wind! :rotfl:
