aaaaagh my darling mutley and "elusive cat that i dont often get to see as it knows every nook and cranny in that house cat" :D
  • morning all,
    fab pics..

I am finding it a bit hard adjusting to the darker nights, and this weather isn't helping.. so flipping help me when the clocks go back!!

hubby picking roofing sheets up today, and putting them on the new shed, and then expectant piggy mum number 2 can go in, ready for her to have her pigkins.. ( I am going to be running out of names for the piggy litters soon lol)

big girl's piglins are doing really well now after their rocky start, she is trying to encourage them to eat, by spilling her water on the floor, and then nudging some her food on the floor, so it gets soake by the water.. but she doesn't realise, there is creep food for them, in their creep area lol..

right off outside to do some work..

Today, Ron, a plasterer we discovered via friend of a friend, is taking the rendering off part of the bungalow with a Kango hammer.....smiley-shocked028.gif

The cats are not amused, but in their post-operative condition they can't go out, so they are being conditioned to loud noise. Last I saw of her, Izzy, the more nervous one, was fast asleep, so seems to be working. :)

Our posh neighbours across the valley have an ideal site and an arboretum in the 'back garden.'

its not personal, the cats are usually really social, but I think they steer clear of bimble!

    Hello

I am reading but tough times here mean I am rushed off my feet and that I have nothing to report that would be of interest.

Loving the animals pics, I often wish we could expand our animal family members but our older cat would be furious :rotfl:

  • New chicken house arrived today - I bought one of these: http://www.chickencoopsandhouses.co.uk/cc3000WX-2012.html but I didn't pay that for it ;) It's already assembled, between heavy showers, and just needs the standard green wood preservative I use and a few little tiny niggles sorting. It's not the most robust of chicken houses but a couple of tweaks will see it to my standards.

Once it's painted I can move the chicks in there and see what they make of "proper" outdoors - not just a 20 minute run around the patio with flying practice :rotfl:

Back to work on Monday - shame! But it's been a good week off and I feel like I've achieved loads :j

    Hugs to everyone :grouphug:

I am strongly of the opinion that possession of plants, however good, does not make a garden; it only makes a collection. Gertrude Jekyll
  • Davesnave.. I love the extension on the chicken's house...very dez rez....

wired weather today, one minute sunny, the next heavy rain..

stayed in the caravan most of the day, listing items on the bay, that I took pics of in work..

we now got some big expensive work that needs doing next to the ranch.. so every penny will be a prisoner, and it better be good at producing more lol..

I think Gerty had strong opinions on most things, but here I agree with her. :A

That place doesn't open for public viewing, so I've no idea how well laid out it is, but it looks OK from here.

    I'd like a little of their shelter....:o
