£4.13 to the EF, had to raid it a little while ago. I think this take's it to over £10 now, so 1% there.Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020
Debt Free Stage 2 - Completed 50/181 Payments0 -
Well, OH took my car to the tyre place to see what the damage was. He knows all the workers there, they're a long-established company and very fair on pricing. Apparently I had a nail in the tyre but it wasn't obvious on first sight as the head had sheered off. Had gone in very deep, needed replacing rather than repair:eek:. The other rear tyre was also pretty worn, though still legal, and OH thought I'd be best getting the 2 replaced at the same time with the bad winter weather. They do a really good discount if more than one is bought at the same time so it seemed very MSE:money:
Not sure of cost yet, OH paid on his card, but for the time being my EF is still at £1000:j until I need to pay him back. He's not in a hurry and with a bit of luck he might even forget about it;)
Hope you enjoy your work Christmas meal, patman:beer::xmassmile0 -

Could I join this challenge please. I really think it will help me get out of a cycle that I am in - paying off some debt then needing to add to it for an emergency, like a broken fridge or boiler, or more frequently, car repairs.
Will be doing this as well as paying off my debt too.0 -

I’ve now got £1409 in my emergency fund. I’ve received £2600 refund from something I wasn’t expected. This helped me pay off some loans and keep the rest as emergency.0 -
