Thanks very much. All I can say is I started back in November putting £50 per month in. In that time I analysed each time we had a standing expense go down and immediately upped the DD to include it. I have had several bad months were I'd save and then immediately have to take out the balance. But overall I've just kept plugging at it. A good boost was the 2 months I didnt have to pay council tax so that went straight in.:)

Top job Muser and Bob. 2 more hit the £1,000 target.

When I started this thread, I never expected to inspire so many others to join with me.

We have followed each others ups and downs and have given each other the support and encouragement when things have got out of sync. And now, we are begining to see positive results.

Congrats Muser and Bob:j:j:beer: on your behalf:)

Good to hear your pay went through ok Patman.

The extra ot I was hoping to do hasn't happened as shamefully ef has taken back seat to sitting in the garden enjoying glorious weather. I keep telling myself this is my summer holiday as I cant see me getting away.
The car is brilliant I hadnt realised what a stress driving had become. It was at the point where I had to keep popping into the garage to ask if the most recent bit that had fallen off was important/essential/ or an optional extra!!!

    Anyway onwards and upwards :)
Don't forget to enjoy the good weather it's free:D
