Isn't there a thread about them getting rid of their Saver range???0 -
Well it took me ages but I just put everything I bought at Aldis total £49 into my Tesco basket ... total just over £60 ! so I am well chuffed.0

Another sample matching purchase....
- Wafer Thin Roast Chicken 400g £1.89 (this went up 20p a couple of weeks ago).
And I got 400 match points.
I was only expecting 200 points (based on matching with Lidl). And then looking it up online, I find Lidl has reduced their price to £1.49.
This is all looking very fair on the part of Morrison's. And handy to get Lidl prices when there is no Lidl for miles.0 -
The "I'm Cheaper" campaign they launched in May was a load of rubbish. They said they were new lower permanent prices yet I've seen some of these products quietly go up in price recently.
Granny Smith apples is one example, the exact same thing they were giving out at train stations in the marketing campaign!0 -
Well since I started with Morrisons card on 4th October I have received £50 in vouchers which is nearly a weeks free shopping.
I always shop there anyway, so it is all extra for me.0 -

By "permanent prices" by presume they meant the prices they are charging when the items arent on an offer. It isnt possible to run a shop without increasing prices at some point ( otherwise we would still be paying 15p for a Mars Bar )0 -
A non-matching product....
M Savers Brie cheese £1.15 doesn't match with Aldi/Lidl @ 99p
I'm guessing that the own brand Brie won't match, either, because the pack is smaller.0 -
Another price match failure today:
NUME (Morrison's) Reduced Fat Houmous 99p didn't match with Aldi Reduced Fat Houmous at 55p.
This led to me asking politely at the CS desk what the process was for matching errors. Apparently, Morrison's have not given the Stores access to the price-matching data, so they have referred my query to HQ.
Will update when they get back to me.0 -
How are you doing your tests out of interest? I thought you had to spend £15 in order to get the match and then it was done on basket spend? Or are you buying other things you know are the same price and/or don't match to get the basket spend over the threshold?0

I shop mostly at Aldi, but I also do the Morrison's fuelsaver scheme.
A single gift card will push the total over £15, and it's easy to add a single grocery item to test the price match.0
