I will be amazed if this backward multi gimmick supermarket lasts next year out.
They must employ hundreds of people to think up gimmicks whilst others just get the price right to start with.
Now they have let parking eye lose on customers as well, it doesn't look good for them at all.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -
Having got "down and dirty". with Match + More, there are definitely some basic issues there, Whether these are just teething problems remains to be seen.0

Slightly OT, I realise, but Morrisons might be bettter advised to play closer attention to its stock control, judging by my local branch.
Far too often items are either out of stock awaiting delivery or, frustratingly, in stock but not out on the shelves.
These seems to be a definite air of 'couldn't really care less' from the staff, too, which makes me wonder if morale is low.0 -

I've spoken to about 6 or 7 Morrison's staff about Match + More issues, and all but one of them were very customer-focussed and keen to tell me the PR info for the scheme. (And this is against the background that they don't have any info in-store, and the points in question are of a low value).
There is a basic misunderstanding amongst M staff, though, and that is that if all the products are the same price or less in one of the other stores, then the M&M points that are due are simply the sum of each individual qualifying item. The "overall basket" only comes into play if any individual items are cheaper at M than ALL of the other stores that sell them, and I haven't come across such a product, yet.0 -
The Morrisons Match and More card is Misleading. I had at least 6 of the items in my trolley which would of been £4.98 cheaper in Tesco and Sainsburys I assumed if I bought them they would Match I got 1330 points which is £1.33 only on the whole £70 shop when I emailed them to ask they stated that it goes by the whole trolley. I do not know How they can get away with this at all. I worked there for 3 years and it is the worst employer Ever to work for but the home shopping was good for the 4 months I used it until I realised this CON. I am fuming as I had read the terms and conditions but it is worded in a way where you assume you will get the money back in points for the more expensive items elsewhere. Well thats me done Never using Morrisons again! I am emailing everywhere I can to get this noticed!0

I believe that it's the same way that Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury's work out their price comparisons - whole shop, but the others don't compare against Lidl and Aldi do they?0

£110 spend in morrisons today, points awarded just 1100 = to £1.10.
i find the points awarded are so random considering its usually the same items being purchased week in week out.
They also like giving out extra points vouchers with the catch you have to spend like £80 minimum on a shop
Personally i would rather they ditched the scheme and just made sure they offered competitive prices instead.
Thankfully we are having a new supermarket being build closer to home so after 15-20 years we will no longer be using them0 -
I gave up on it weeks ago. In fact, I haven't set foot in Morrisons for several weeks, now.
The Match & More scheme just isn't reliable enough, and unfortunately for most shoppers its failed matches aren't self-evident, although they do see the paltry number of points as above.0
