Yes that is exactly what I did, and you do get points for match and points for more. Didnt work on the red but white worked.0

Just been to try this and it did work. Bough a packet of crackers for 89p to take it above the £15 mark. 4520 match points and 4100 more points, 8620 in total. Could have saved £4.52 elsewhere. The double bubble trick does work!2020 wins: Orchid feed - Illy coffee - Cineworld tickets

Did you get red or white?0

I got a bottle of both of the above I mentioned in a previous post. Both had the 2000 points identifier on the shelf price. Only 3 bottles left of the red.2020 wins: Orchid feed - Illy coffee - Cineworld tickets

This morning I got 2 more bottles of Hardys Stamp for the points, only they didnt go on. I went to customer service and what a kerfuffle!!!! They tried telling me a load of rubbish, points will go on in 72 hours, you cant have 2 lots of points for one item etc. After half an hour I said lets just forget it, please just give me a refund. I was told they couldnt do that as they have no way of taking the 4860 points back. I said its not my fault, and you are stopping my consumer rights by not letting me return items I dont want. After ages I got the refund and lady said I could phone them up and ssk for the points to be taken off. I said there is no way I am doing that.
Beacause thats what I brought here0 -
Of course... slapped wrist for not reading the thread.
BTW they aren't legally obliged to let you return things you don't want. However if it is store policy to do it for everyone else, you might have cause for complaint if they didn't do it for you.
I can't believe that a reputable organisation goes into something like this without having a mechanism to deduct points. Perhaps they are working on it?0 -

I am sure they are obliged to let me return an item if they dont give me the points clearly shown on the shelf edge label. Trading Standards take a very dim view of this invitation to treat thing0 -
Points are a tricky area. Being technically worthless, makes it legally questionable whether you could, for example, sue over them.

Morrisons is going downhill FAST!! We've made a number of complaints recently but this new points card really takes the biscuit!
So here's an example of how this card actually rips you off...
I buy at least 1 x 2L Pepsi Max a week. Now Asda or Morrisons usually have this at £1 a bottle. At the moment Asda is still £1 but Morrisons is £1.98.
Morrisons have the cheek to charge you double but give you 100 points. If I bought 1 bottle each week for a year at the Morrisons price of £1.98 that equals £102.96. Asda would cost me £52. But it's ok because the additional £50.96 I have forked out is cancelled out by the 52 x 100 points - a whole £5 voucher.
The pepsi £1 offer always rotates around supermarkets, being doing so for years.0
