Went out to ASDA at lunch time and they do not seem to sell any nail polish removers with acetone in! They had about four varieties of Sally Hanson but they all seemed kind in some way or other! What is the World coming to?

RE: the L'Occitane free gift I have had a result. I emailed them letting them know that I had given them the incorrect email for MrM and they have re-sent it! Am now hoping I'll still be able to pick up the freebie and am trying to talk MrM into going to the Trafford Centre tomorrow night for tea as well.

    Hi
Have you tried sallys? I got a big 500ml bottle there for a bit more than you normally pay but it has lasted a few years, still got some. I only really use it more in summer than winter though.

I'm hoping for an invitation to move in with him.

Ooh have you thought about asking him to move in with you? I moved in with OH (back when we were still house sharing with another friend) and I felt quite unsettled for a long time as it wasn't my place it was his
    Thanks for your comment pirateyqueen:)
It went surprisingly well today! From what i'd been told i expected to be in loads of pain, not be able to eat etc but it's not painful really just more of a dull ache and I had fish&chips for tea! haha still feels strange to eat i'll admit but nothing like I expected.

I had fixed braces from 14-19. First set went on, train tracks top and bottom and it felt fine. And then I ate a crisp roll. I was crying in pain for two days :(

Hi ladies! *waving vigorously from the naughty step*.
Did not repaint my toe nails as I could not get the Shellac gel to come off with my normal nail polish remover! Any suggestions?

If you haven't done this already (I have a page still to read) follow Maddie's instructions with 'Get 'em off'. When I do my finger nails I make sure to make a cup of tea before I wrap, and wrap my hands around the hot mug. It's pretty lush to do when you don't have someone trying to scrape away at your fingers and make torturous small talk the whole time.

I have had a huge change in mindset regarding things like advent calendars, gwp's and sets of toiletries too, seem to have got it out of my system and now prefer to spend the money on a day out, with coffee and cake and a nice lunch, or a night or two away somewhere. I think that I will always like to try new things, but for the considerable future I have plenty of unused/untried things in my stash, so am happy shopping from there.

I am trying to apply the same principle to my huge larder stash too, and the freezer needs emptying to be defrosted. I will never be minimalist in anything I do:eek::eek:

I do think you and I are soul mates! Got a costco card 18 months ago, I now have a stash in the garage that could rival most extreme couponers's stashes, the pantry now has stuff everywhere and the freezer is frilled to the brim no matter what I do.

I also have more debt than I have ever had before and need a kick up the !!!!.
  • I have a couple of UUs to report, I hope everyone is well :)

Nivea Creme 50ml WNBA really, it was a bit too cakey and yet I didn't feel it moisturised properly. Really odd :S

and a random sachet of day crream - i don't even remember the name but it all counts!

    see you all soon!

Jealous. I had an email response that was frankly a bit smarmy, telling me what they had done, but no reissuing of the email. Nevermind.

I have a stinking cold and am in a foul mood. Everything I do feels like swimming through golden syrup and I am sick of being ill all the damn time. Seriously considering booking an appointment with a nutritionist. Last time I went to the doctors (before he discovered I had very very low Vit D levels) I was told 'Well Ms RogueyLawyer you're complaining of tiredness and regular illness. You work a 60 hour week every week, what did you expect?' To which my response was 'You're telling me I have to put up with it or change career before you've given me so much as a blood test?' I don't think my GP is particularly sympathetic.

    I have two UUs:

Neom real luxury bath oil 5ml - love love love
Umberto Giannini incredible body plump up volumising mask for big hair 200ml - I have had this long enough that I was surprised it was still in production. Nearly 2 years I think. It's certainly not on the list from the last 14 months. It does its job but it smells very chemically and makes me worry what is in it. WNBA

I'm considering buying the new beauty box, my little box. Has anyone else seen it or got it?

Hi to all. Good vibes to those suffering the stuffed nose, worn out thingie that's going around. I'm about over my version of it.

So, I'm actually making headway seeing a bit more room in the storage areas. I'm down to one unopened bath/body wash bottle.

UU up a tub of Yves Rocher body cream that was the Morrocan line Hammamet or something? I liked it and would buy again.

Finished a few gwp size face creams, nothing worth getting excited about.

I may never graduate from eye shadow or mascara but hey, it's a hobby.

I was good and passed on the latest Lancôme and Estee Lauder gwp promotions. I've even resisted the limited edition stuff for October in the shops.

Now after that brag, I do have a massive fail. I renewed my Dior Secret Admirer subscription and I was the lucky bidder for a trip to NYC to the ballet.

I keep telling myself it's for a good cause, but I may never get off the naughty step.

Hope the really good weather is holding up in your neck of the woods.

Hope everyone is well. work is super busy as usual, I am glad there is only another to go before week off.

    UU's ( have been busy)
L'occitane lavender hand wash GA to friend

Lord of misrule bath ballistic WBA one of my favourites ( I seem to say that about most ballisitcs)

So white bath ballistic WBA as above really.

White witch foamying bath bomb WBA (again) lovely scent.

Dashing santa bath ballistic WMBA I was really looking forwards to this one and was really hoping to see it move across the bath. It did not do anything of the sort, not a walk, tiptoe or anything even with a little shove it stayed in the same place. It did take 10 minutes to disolve and was very pretty but would only buy them in the sale.

It's a date bubble bar WNBA a bit of a relic, made the bath a beautiful pink colour but little scent left.

Parma violet bubble slice WBA really impressed with this concidering it was not lush and I have tried quite a few bubble bars from other companies. Well scented.

Rolling hills sugar scrub WNBA lovely scent but not scrubby enough.

    Imp sugar scrub
WBA shame it's from an American company and postage costs make it expensive. Beautiful scent.

Popcorn sugar scrub WNBA too scrubby and a sythetic scent which I did not enjoy ( I know can't seem to win, too scrubby, not scrubby enough:D)

Butterscotch shower fluff 250ml WNBA synthetic fragrance which was overpowering and not nice. Product did not work aswell as other whipped soaps.

Barbanie shea butter hand cream 50ml WBA but can't as Korean but lovely product a little overly scented for me.

Ian Clayton Smith conditioner 1 litre WNBA atlast finally finished it. I think I will stick to buying smaller bottles as they are so much quicker to UU. Still have far too much hair conditioner but this will soon go down as I am using the smaller bottles up.

Schwarzkoft essence ultimate omega repair conditioner 250ml WBA really liked it, does not last me very long (long hair and wash it too much) but I do have another 7 bottles so will be alright for some time yet.

    BS cucumber cleanser 250ml
WNBA Hurray :T:T:T:T:T:T. I did it, I finally used it up:beer:. I am very proud of myself for this one. I used to love it in my teenage years but sadly no longer liked it, It has taken only about 6 months for me to get through it but I have finally got there ( pat on back, fan fair :j:j:j:j).

a bubble bubble thing WNBA ( not really sure of what it is actually called as it is all in Korean) over powering scent and it makes my nose itch as it bubbles (think the name says it all really), only 3 more to go.

Yves rocher hydra vegetal toner 200ml WNBA okay did what it needed to do.

Caudalie anti wrinkle defence serum 10ml WNBA nice product but did not wow me.

Microdelivery exfoliating facial wash 30ml WBA really liked it still have another small one to use. Would buy it if I ever run out which looking at my list could be along time.:D

Lush twilight perfume WBA really like the scent, still have another bottle.

Lush American Cream perfume WBA I can't believe it but I have got through 2 perfumes ( well done me, another pat on back, might open bottle of wine to celebrate). again really like this scent and do have another.

Hand sanitiser in some vanilla scent WBA loved the batrh and bodyworks hand sanitisers, no ideas why no British comany can sell lovely scented sanitisers but it is probalby a good job as I would probably buy the whole range and have a few as back ups:rotfl:.

If you are still reading this you are doing really well. I did decide that using different colours may make it a little bit more interesting.

IN's ( all from Meme boxes)
Aloe vera aqua gel 150ml always useful

Aloe vera all care cream 10g I am sure this will be useful but it is mint scentecd so think I will use this on my feet and wash my hands really well after to get rid of the scent.

Dewy tree Aqua collagen peptide sleeping mask 150ml Already in use.

D'ran aqua wonder recovery eye cream 25g, not that I need anymore eye cream anther back up is always useful.

Now the hair products ( yes I know I have enough but a few more can't harm?)

Hair colour keeper shampoo 300ml ( my list for shampoos does not look too bad so this one I might get away with:cool:)

Boutique bebe hair salon vita-clinic mist 60ml (bit of a mouthful)

Proyou scalp nutrition calming fluid 150ml this is mean't to calm itchy scalps and I don't actually think I have any similar products, I think I can actually class this as a product I need.

Sally's box freindly argon hair mask, single use product and I like hair masks.

Collagen ceramide coating protein treatment 100ml, I think I have now run out of excuses.

Tosowoong 10 hours 25ml another hair treatment, single use.

Well done if you have managed to read it all:T.

These colds are really miserable, I am feeling a little better today thank goodness. I sympathise about the wading through treacle thing, I have B12 deficiency (PA) and became really ill before I got diagnosed, then went downhill again a few years later and struggled to get better treatment. Doctors will always (in my experience anyway) always try and fob us off rather than find out what is wrong:(

Perhaps you and I should make ourselves a groceries equivalent of the PP list each month and commit to using a certain amount "from stocks", I must look in case the OS board has anything similar running. (I have done well today and dragged 4 things from the freezer to make a very tasty pasta dish).

  • Hello ladies
Hope you are all well. I have a couple of Uu's to declare:

This works firming body lotion, this has quite a thick consistency but sinks in quite easily. It has a fig and jasmine fragrance which I wasn't so keen on as it was quite strong. I can't comment on the firming claims as it was quite a small tube. I wnba as there are many others I prefer.

Herbal essence bee strong leave in conditioner spray, this was the second bottle of this I have used, I do think it makes my hair easier to brush, wba

    Happy pampering xo
