Hi everyone and welcome to new peoples and returners :hello:
Mr and Mrs LW - 'course we missed you. Sorry for the probs and glad they seem to be progressing well
Pigpen - Well-done on the titfer - though I would have called it a 'woody' :rotfl: didn't know you was a sparra ??
Next door's overflow has gone into hyperdrive and has been flooding across my access. I don't think anyone is there atm as I've knocked several times and no reply.
DH has rigged up a Heath Robinson solution for now to take it away to the overflow drain and so I had a mop up with some bleach and boiling water and it's starting to dry up now. Hope someone is there soon

Wow Mummyroysof3 - most impressed with your OU achievements. I too am an OU student. Have done several level 1 courses and now on Sk277 but must say as it's my first level 2 course, I am quite apprehensive about level of study. You have inspired me though.

Thanks, I start my last one for my honours degree this week and I'm kind of sad that I won't be doing anymore tbh lol. Good luck xHave a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0 -
As I got up at 3-15 I'll be barely functioning to do more than basics, school runs and work. Got hair cuts for me and 2 of the kids after school....stressful due to youngests disability. Hubby seems to like new job but think he glad it's only for 7 weeks.Have a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0

Morning all
Lacking GUAG at this is early hour. Just making DH a cuppa then I need to feed mogs and tidy kitchen.
DS2 coming home on the train this morning for the day, DS3 will be pleased to seehim and hopefully we can cheer him up a bit.
Haircut today was going to look for a new style but not had time so a tidy up I think. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning all. Rough evening and night here due to very drunk DH getting on my nerves. DH, DD and the dogs are all still in bed.
Anway, I've skim read so hugs to LW, lovely photos Bossy and Piggers. Hugs and spoons to anyone else who needs them.
The presentation went really well yesterday and I've been asked to do a face to face session in London next week, so thanks for all your good vibes. My holiday is to Derbyshire, not far, but a particular type of hols that gets booked up almost immediately dates are released.
This morning I am sorting out finances as its payday, but I may get a look at the list later.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Good morning.
Usual routine this morning with the cat. So he is now fed and watered. Though I'm expecting to have to do the litter tray when I get back up.
Got a nice surprise yesterday. I had claimed for a miss sold PPI and its been upheld.
Work today. Well it never seems like work. I nearly cried yesterday. An old lady came over. She had been in A&E a few weeks ago and I had got her husband a cup of tea and a sandwich. She was so grateful yesterday He calls me the cheese sandwich lady and gave me a hug.
Will see what I can get done before I go out.
Welcome to newbies and hugs, sticks and spoons where needed.0 -
Morning everyone - I'll have to check on you all before I retire as so much has gone on whilst I've been sleeping - or rather sleeping then not IYKWIM!!!
Welcome to all newbies/ returners. As someone said we can be mad on here!!
The "paper resistant cloth" has my To do pad perched on its edge now - but only because I didn't want to risk spilling my coffee on it!!! If we weren't going away this weekend I'd have bought flowers to stop myself cluttering it again!!
The overflow from the table was on my sorting table - ( aka the ironing board) but as I have to do HHI this morning to stop myself eating breakfast before weigh in it is now on the first half landing on the stairs!!! I'm sure there'll be lots more paper pile shifting this afternoon - if I'm not too worn out by my walks - before and after weigh in!!!
I now need paper resistant flooring too LOL!!!
Will update my lists from yesterday as really need to do a brill catch up before Sunday.

Damp and foggy here, it was pouring down overnight. Off to get ready for the paid stuff. I have got a meeting straight after work then home to get cracked on with job number 2 and some bedroom decluttering.
