  • Good Afternoon everyone,

After a fab day getting the house clean yesterday, and after a bad nights sleep, drew myself up a list of many things to do to keep me focussed. Got through half of them, but I cannot get new computer to recognise printer - agh. I am ok with technical stuff but no expert - so an hour or so wasted really.

Could only do half of errands as whilst getting dog to sit, I noticed - eugh - FLEAS!!!

So spent the next hour (which did not have to spare) putting drops on cat & dog, and clearing their bedding/towels/matts out of house, and spraying all where they go and washing all their stuff on 90degrees. Poor animals are aimlessly mooching around searching for their beds.

Hey ho. Tea time now. Catch up tomorrow I guess.

    hi everyone

    Welcome to newbies.
(((Hugs))) to all in need, especially Dusty and DS2, mrs-mp and m-I-l and Mr and Mrs Wolf, with special GWS vibes to Mr Wolf.
Hope the hospital visit went well Skinty.

Another crazy week is underway! We left home before 7.00 this morning and arrived punctually just before 10.00 for the family funeral in S Wales. Now on our way home (DH is driving this leg). We started out in heavy mist, and I dreaded the thought of a rainy day to make everyone even more miserable, but the sun came through at 8.00 and it's been a beautiful day. Many tears, but also many happy memories. We have met two more of DH's second cousins and I have more info to add to his family tree.

Out again this evening, but I might manage HHI somehow.
  • glad the day went as well as it could iona and the weather was kind.

Shower room sparkly, more tidying, sewing emporium revisited and another pattern ordered. I'm so glad I made the toile, but my nifty design just doesn't work in the way I want it to so I've ordered a pattern. Much needed elastic bought and more pins added to the stash. She's got a whole load more fabric in and 20% off for another couple of weeks. I love her 100% cottons .... *tempted*
    Better is good enough.
