You, your M3, and a tub of custard, or you don't own one...
it has got to be a tin of Birds custard just like Jason Had
I now have visions of a guy in a toyota yaris driving around looking for an M3, and asking the owner can you take a photo of me and my tin of custard please0 -

As for the tyres, if the OP is on buget get the Kumho. If not go for Goodyear efficientgrip
Which M3? The E46 auto is pants unless used flat out.0 -

Darkmatter, do you have a mortgage?
Do you have any pics of M3?
I have plenty of my M cars, you must have too....
Yes I do have pics. Are you a BMW forum member from any of the forum sites?
No I do not have a mortgage. I rent a shared flat with my friend in central London, so I can to commute to work quite easily by foot. However I am in the process of saving up for a deposit as is my gf.0 -

E46 has the useless SMG. The E92 has an optional DCT box which is much better0 -

So why refer to yet another car you don't own?
Used to be on an M3 and M5 forum, but not now I don't own either.
An 8 grand 10 year old car won't impress many people, as you can see here
After 4 years I have 100k equity in a 250k house, and a green 12 year old Passat in the drive I bought for £1600.
I can overtake, do 130mph, and do 54mpg, and insure it for £200. A set of tyres is less than one for the rear of the M5 I had.
I grew up and put my money into something going up in value.0 -

I never said I own the e46 m3. I have the e92 M3.0 -

Ah yeah, the one parked next to the Lexus IS250, I forgot.
I might sell my house and buy a few of each.0 -

OK, so not the bargain basement ditchfinders any more then?
Wish you'd make up your mind whose advice you're going to regurgitate.0 -
Driven one? Great for Top Gear 0-60, what about creeping along in heavy traffic or parking in a tight space? How reliable are they? In other words, you are doing your "best" thing without any understanding of what you are trying to achieve.darkmatter101 wrote: »Ermm yes the M3 has a DCT double clutch transmission.
