uhm. why? it's free. you haven't lost out on anything.
They might not have lost something in terms of money, but they did complete their part of the deal by supplying the required number of e-mail address, & didn't get the offered reward for doing so. Are RPM going to remove the supplied e-mail addresses where the original contact hasn't received their pitcher? I very much doubt it. Would any of us have supplied those e-mail addresses if RPM's campaign had included the line "Please send us 5 e-mail addresses, but we won't be giving you anything for that"? I doubt that too.

Sometimes promo campaigns work & sometimes they don't, & this is one of those times that RPM will have spent far more money than they expected to. However, for the sake of their professional reputation, they should still meet their obligations & remember from the experience so as to do better next time. :)
  • masterbrown-where did you get those images from?...did you make them yourself or copy from the rpm website?
Got them from their website......Well I may have made one of them myself:silenced: :shhh:

  • Hello

Just had mine delivered and yes 2 big cracks around the handle   so another email to them might be in order.

What a shame a brown box then a red box a lot of bubble warp and piece of tissue paper still didn't pevent the damage.

Looks great shame i think if i was to use it the handle would come off.

    Cheers

Just like mine - the glass is so delicate and fragile, one slight knock or punch to the box overlying the handle whilst in the post would damage it!

  • Morning all

Well, mine came this morning and thankfully, it was in one piece!!

Having read all the posts about folks receiving them smashed, my heart was in my feet as I opened it up ... as mentioned before, it was two wraps of bubble wrap, some tissue paper too (the pitcher had been washed and packed whilst wet, cos the paper was stuck to it) but it was in one piece thank God!

Just reading the previous posts ... haven't looked at the handle properly, but the main body is fine. Uh oh!! ... I best have a good look! Now then, on looking at mine, you will never believe it, but it looks like it has been used and not washed out properly!! There is a ring of something round the bottom of it

It's a really elegant thing though, with cocktail measures down one side of it.

I really really hope you guys get a replacement ... it makes you wonder if they were sent broken so they could claim it happened in the post and that would be the end of it .... or am I too suspicious?

Mine arrived this morning too. Box and pitcher both in perfect condition. Good luck to everyone who is having problems with theirs.
