    So why did the confirmation screen say my Grand Marnier pitcher would be on its way after I gave all the necessary information. This is clearly not true, which is very poor in my opinion. It should have said it would be on its way if you had any left, at least we would all know where we stood with the promotion.
    I have emailed you three times without reply, I am sure you are very sorry for my disappointment but you just didn't have time to tell me.

    If I was cross before about this issue before, I'm fighting mad now that I've seen this further meaningless garbage and empty platitudes from this person (assuming she is genuine and this isn't a wind up.) We gave them details of our friends and relatives in good faith and we've been stitched up.

    As I've stated before, these clowns entered into a CONTRACT with genuine applicants - furthermore they stated that the goods would be delivered, and now they are trying to renege on the contract.

    Don't anyone let them off the hook because "Jemma" has posted some bad examples of bad customer service jargon here.

    At the very least everyone should report them and Grand Marnier to the Advertising Standards Authority - complaint form link here:

  • Jemma, could you please tell us what the new offer is?
    Would it not be a far better idea to just get more pitchers made and to ensure that the first people that applied got them rather than just the first people to complain?

    honey its has to be said but rpm have well and truely COCKED this one up.

    NO WEHERE ON THE APPLICATION FORM DID IT SAY WHILST STOCKS LAST !

    remeber the hoover and the free flights saga...................... yes we think that you are going to have some real problems with sorting this one out.

    Even now RPM are making shoddy excuses!!! This message from Jemma contradicts the email that we received saying that we would not be getting the pitcher. The email said that it was because it was done on a first come first served basis. As previous comments suggest this was quite clearly not the case. RPM were blatatntly just giving them to people who complained which is why they are now saying it was a competition and while stocks last.

    MAKE UP YOUR MIND RPM!!!
  • If we are (with justification) cynical about RPM - who could simply tell their client that this is only a small problem, it might be worth copying in some senior GM people on your complaints. I've struggled a bit and I'm not saying that these are the right people but it might make them at least take notice:

    im really cross, i emailed them a couple of weeks back and got told that as i had taken the time and trouble to mail them he would personally send me a pitcher, now ive got one saying im unlucky???????????? can someone please explain. to jemma - i supplied YOUR COMPANY With 5 legitimate addresses, which im sure you will use - a total con, no more grand marnier for us
