Hi Baldybear - just catching up on your diary. Hoss is gorgeous!!!
Keep up the good work :beer:0 -
Good afternoon
Lovely sunny morning spent with the hossie, she looks sparkling clean (wont last long with the mud :rotfl:) but nice to spend some quality time.
Productive but spendy day yesterday, did a tip run of random rubbish from the yard and home. Got fuel, paid on Sains CC to earn extra points (already paid of) and bought hoss food. All under budget (by pennies but still under) Sister paid me by £20 but then had a fail and due to family crisis in the evening ended up spending £4 on takeway  Nevermind moving on..
Today better day have just redeemed more vouchers and money from survey sites so more to add to the pot when it lands. Also have reclaimed £30 odd from credit refund on electricity account so can transfer to savings when that lands too.
£5 landed this morning from survey site so insurance now £10.43, still a long way to go but with the recent survey money should bump it up quite nicelyDebt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!
Mortgage 13-1-25 - £63K

Good morning
Small spend today £5 for hoss trainer for the weekend due to me getting a takeway and need to get some juice for work.
Think will be able to reduce around £70 of my Overdraft this month, not great but its still a big downward turn so happy with this.
Small survey payment has landed, sent straight to insurance savings now at £24.60Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Good morning
So that inevitable letter from Virgin saying prices going up £3 a month, am currently pay £52.99/month for tv/broadband/phone so with the £3 increase is a lot of money. So thought worth a call to see what I could do, asked the agent what she could do, thats all I asked, she has increased my telephone package to free calls during week (currently only get at weekend) and with this can reduce my bill to £49.99! So better package and saving £4 a month, bonusJust have to wait for confirmation to come through.

Good morning
Another boring NSD day, TFI friday been a looong week!
Sorted out meal plan last night, worked out what I need for meals, shopping etc. Going tomorrow, its a week before payday but will put on Sains CC and pay of on payday, wont incur interest and will get double nectar points so ok. Have £5 of nectar points already, £10 gift card and a £12 of £60 spend so hopefully down to a minimum. Need to go as no fresh fruit, freezer looking bare and £12 voucher expires so makes sense to use as wont cost me anything in interest.
Got hoss trainer on sunday, money already put aside, nothing else planned.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Good morning
Another monday morning bah but hey ho another day closer to the weekend!
So spendy day on saturday, did my food shop, spent £137 but with vouchers actual hard cash spent £108. This is £8 over my food budget for the month but took advantage of special offers and now have a rammed freezer, will last me way longer than a month so will be able to stretch out budget for next month to reduce overdraft or savings targets. Put on CC for nectar points, will pay of on payday which should be this friday so no interest will be charged.
No other spends for weekend apart from hossie trainer but money already put aside. Sorted out garden and found some more scrappy wood in outhouse so have cut that up to burn, still got shedloads so prob see me through till next winter!
Sorted out some more clothes, have bagged up lots and going to take to cash for clothes at lunchtime, so hopefully a few pennies there.
Got dr's apptmtnts tomorrow and thurs so need to pay for car park but got change in purse.
If I dont spend anything till friday, which I shouldnt need to, I will have reduced overdraft by £59I also have £10 cash at home plus whatever today brings in so can put that towards farrier next month - its £25 so already third way there, can use this amount budgeted to reduce overdraft again. Bit of a roundabout way of doing things but as long as all are debts are going down then it doesnt matter which way it goes.
Min payment of Bcard today so down to £5204 and credit report landed so mortgage has gone down to, small signature update which looks quite positive as all figures going in the right direction
This is very waffley but type as I remember but keeps me in checkDebt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!
