    Good morning all.

On the subject of weight loss...

I would heartily recommend Slimming World, I think a few other people on here do it too.

Two things that are worth mentioning...

First you never need to be hungry - stick to plan and there are plenty of foods that you can have in unlimited amounts (as long as you are still hungry)

Secondly going to a group and staying after weigh in does make a difference to motivation (some groups maybe less so but mine is fab)

Hope that doesn't sound too much like an advert - I'm not a consultant, just a regular group member, it costs £5 a week, usually an offer to join for free and you can pre-buy 6 weeks for price of 5.

When you get to your target weight and stay +/-3lbs you don't have to pay.

btw mushy pea curry is awesome!

Morning elite! Slower start to my day today as I went to bed a little later than normal so thought I'd treat myself to a catch up here :)

Oooh coconut butter looks good! Thanks JJ.

On the subject of weight loss. I haven't got on scales in years. I think the numbers will invariably disappoint me so rather than upset myself I'd prefer to just try and eat well most of the time. If you lose enough weight you'll start to see it on your body which is always the best guide IMHO. And I don't agree with going cold turkey. I'm introducing things, phasing other stuff out, seeing what I like to eat that's good for me. Because I don't want this to be short term.

Thank you all for your recommendations of things to try. Very helpful for a noob.
    Debt free 6th December 2014 :)

Morning emm I always imagine you in my minds eye as a size 8-10 young lady not someone who has to think about her weight:T
