I buy it from Paks Indian supermarket. 2 blocks for £1.10.

That's pretty good value and cheaper than regular butter. (I don't touch margarines of any description)

    The blocks are 200g each.

Ps, see the large tins of wild pacific salmon in the window?

£1 from asda at the moment. They are being cleared!

They are weight equivalent of 3 regular tins of salmon.

    Bargaintastic!!!

    Brilliant stuff!!!

I don't use ANY products on my skin other than my own home prepared.

My skin creams are made of coconut oil and orange essential oil (good for skin cancers).

I try not to put anything on my skin that I wouldn't put in it as skin is kind of like an organ and stuff goes straight into your bloodstream.

Ps, I also use cider vinegar that I keep in a spritz bottle in the bathroom. Its a very convenient way of using as a leave in conditioner/body spray/deodorant etc etc with no wastage.

Any vinegar smell completely dissipates upon drying.

DD buys her coconut oil from the local health food shop as she was recommended the organic one. I will get some of the one you recommend to keep in the cupboard aswell as the one she buys is pricey. true about the vinegar too. thanks.
Im feeling much better today nearly over my disappointment about Cambridge weight Plan. I have made a decision not to buy any more of their stuff and if i need to lose a few pounds i will buy some Lighter Life from Superdrug( cheaper too). As my daughter said last night " Mum it's down to your willpower and determination that you lost the weight not cambridge".
Anyway off to Portugal on friday for 5 days with my sister and her husband. All it's costing me is the flight.

I still have some tins of salmon from the 2011 PP frenzy. Me thinks maybe we have been contributing to T losing money. haha!

Your daughter is a very wise woman, it is down to your willpower, a diet alone does not make you lose the weight, especially the amount you have lost :)

One thing that has always annoyed me, why do they call it willpower when most of the time it is about NOT doing things, should it not be called won'tpower

DS1 has lost all of his earphones, and I had a few pairs of the 1p ones we got. Someone posted a pair of headphones on here the other day, that were scanning cheap in Tosco, anyone know who it was, and how much, and if there is a barcode please.

    Edit:-

    Found them, thanks bubbs.

Morning all, we had rain last night so everything is sodden outside, at least I don't have to water and the lawn is a better colour.

Today I am mostly clearing up - yes we have had early warning signs of possible weekend visitors and there are items in the same place as they were when visitors came last so I need to at least shuffle them around a bit.

The main reason I am avoiding the desk though is there is a wasp that has been trapped in the study for 3 days and won't go away - all doors and windows open but he insists on buzzing around my head. This morning he tried to get my attention by chucking himself on my desk - so I retreated - if he wants the study all to himself he can have it :rotfl:

True. I was having a lot of stress last year with DD being ill etc and I kind of knew I had to be in control of something. My 9 year old niece was christened on Sunday and I wore a size 10 dress and everyone said how lovely I looked. As DD says it tastes good to be slim. Its a shame I never conquered it before but maybe life begins at 60!!.
DD is a size 6 ( due to stress and depression) but us healthy and goes to the gym regularly( really helps with the depression) and you would be surprised at how many of her so called friends message her on FB to say she is too slim.
  • Morning all :)

It's not even 9 0 clock and I am already in a pants mood  went out and bought a washing machine as I can't cope without one and nan was getting frustrated cause it was all her washing in there when it broke and she was worried about repair man seeing her smalls :o bless her I had told her he wouldn't but she was getting upset about it, anyway got said washing machine home plumbed it in and put it on an empty wash about 9 pm and when I got up at 3 for work it was still spinning and then oh phoned me at 7 to ask if I had put it on again as it was still spinning  have had to turn it off at the wall to stop it now and just waiting for shops to open

Jumble jack the things you do fascinate me :)
