Decided to get a tumble dryer to blitz laundry/pillows/duvets etc.

More convenient to do on a daily basis. (Currently running out of steam, pardon the pun, with making all bedding and mattresses done on a daily basis!)

Will get a Currys gift card from mozzers first to get a 25p off fuel ticket ;)

My daughter has a thyroid problem and various skin ailments. She has had a bad year mentally and has lost a lot of weight. my sister in law is in to natural remedies and recommended coconut oil for eating and skin car, cider vinegar for the same, triphala for digestive problems and also turmeric. My dd has been using all of the above for 3 weeks and the improvement is really noticeable. her skin is glowing, she is not always tired and her ibs is calm. She also has chia seeds in her smoothy and multivitamins every day as she is veggie and her diet is limited.

Hi Rose , what does your SIL recomend for the thyroid problem please?:D

:hello:Good morning Elite, hoping for a nice, quiet day here today.

I have managed to offend the local fishwives by asking one of them to stop her son bullying ds2 :( Her son has problems and is on medication for adhd or something but he is so aggressive it's scary. After I had a word with him and his mum, he was playing near our house and as I went past he was chanting "I want to kill you" - he's only 9  He's the little firebug that I mentioned a few days ago, he sets fire to bins and even set fire to his nans house. He's not allowed out unsupervised (supposedly) as he is so unpredictable but if she bothers to stand out with him she just watches him misbehave and shouts at anyone who dares speak up...my turn at the mo. It makes the school run a bit of a nightmare because she takes the same route as me and makes loud comments to her chavvy mates for me to hear. Got to try to let it go over my head but it is so unpleasant.

Anyway, got to get over it and be ready to run the gauntlet again later.

On the weight loss issue, I think most of us would like to change our body shape in some way, this year I have put on 17kg but I wear a size 8 jeans and about a twelve top, so you can work out I was very under weight, even had a feeding tube at one point, but I hated the way I looked, now I am still not happy about my shape wish I could move the weight about a bit:D, , being healthy no matter what shape weight or size is more important so try not to be to hard on yourselves and if like tweets losing weight is right then thats great:)

Awful as it may be, the best thing is to ignore it unless it involves you and yours. It won't be long until he will be involved with the police by the sounds of it, maybe it will force her to actually do something about it? ADHD does not wash with them.

One thing that really annoys me is that people no longer think that kids are simply naughty and need discipline. I know some do have problems, often stemming from things like diet and birth problems, but a lot of the time it is all down to the attitude of parents that think their job is to simply keep them alive till they go to school and then the school has to do everything else.

One of my DDs friends from way back when has been in trouble with the police (as a teenager). When she started acting up when she was little her mum said stop it or you will not go to the park. She did not stop it and still went to the park. She did not believe in smacking, but by god that girl needed a smack. I did smack my two, but it came to a day when they were still quite young that all I had to do was start counting to 10 and they started behaving or very rapidly disappeared into their room (another punishment), this was before they turned 10 if not a lot earlier.

I hope you manage to sort things out, but unfortunately some parents are too stupid to look after kids.

strewth hope things get better for you as it is awful when someone can make your life unbearable with the way they behave towards you and yours.I must say in my lifetime I have been on the receiving end and it can make you quite ill but I only have myself to consider nowadays and stick up for myself as best I can and I can be quite firery when I have too;)

    :)

Home alone for a few weeks so doing my own thing & have slept in :D

Booked a haircut for 11am to have the 'lump' removed/thinned out on top of my head :o

When I won the free haircut that hairdresser said the first layer could not be shorter than my fringe :(

So I've tolerated the lump thinking I'll try & grow it again ...

    Happy Wednesday ♥
