Yesterday, you had blue sky, no? We had rain.

Today, you have grey clouds. We have a blue sky.

You've got a good point there! So is it going to rain all day?:D

Home alone for a few weeks so doing my own thing & have slept in :D

Booked a haircut for 11am to have the 'lump' removed/thinned out on top of my head :o

When I won the free haircut that hairdresser said the first layer could not be shorter than my fringe :(

So I've tolerated the lump thinking I'll try & grow it again ...

    Happy Wednesday ♥

    Scott & Bailey tonight :j:j:j

    Good luck!

I simply tell my hairdresser exactly what I want, woe-betide one that gets it wrong, and the first layer is definitely shorter than my fringe :D I keep my hair short, it is way too thick for anything else! I had it "long" (meaning it looked more like an affro!) and walked past a bees nest once, a bee flew into my hair and I could hear this buzzing, no-one believed me until it flew back out! My hair is so thick it didn't find my scalp to sting me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Rain got worse throughout the day.

Hopefully, it'll get better and you can have a nice ride on your bike.

Morning emm I always imagine you in my minds eye as a size 8-10 young lady not someone who has to think about her weight:T

Thanks Nanny. I am but everyone has wobbly bits ;)

I've been smaller than I am now and just felt a bit more comfortable. So trying to get back to something approaching that.

Awful as it may be, the best thing is to ignore it unless it involves you and yours. ...

I know I need to ignore it, this has been going on for a week or so, hopefully it will blow over soon. Her son definitely has mental health issues, I suspect more than adhd and I would sympathise but she is making things so much worse by not disciplining him. I never smack my 2 youngest, I really don't need to - as I am normally calm and quiet I just have to raise my voice a little and they react  When they were younger I used the naughty step and when they are older I will use the same method I used on my older 2 which was to take away the most important thing to them for a period of time. For my son it was going out with his friends and for my daughter it was her phone, just the threat of it usually worked wonders.

strewth hope things get better for you as it is awful when someone can make your life unbearable with the way they behave towards you and yours.I must say in my lifetime I have been on the receiving end and it can make you quite ill but I only have myself to consider nowadays and stick up for myself as best I can and I can be quite firery when I have too;)

It doesn't help that I am like a little mouse normally, I lack confidence and I think they sense that but I will protect my kids when needed. All I can do is rise above it and carry on.

    Thanks both of you :A

I've been smaller than I am now and just felt a bit more comfortable. So trying to get back to something approaching that.

When I got married (nearly 30 years ago  I weighed 7 3/4 stone, everyone said I was underweight but I ate and ate, at work I used to have two pies with chips and peas followed by cheese and biscuits! Then I used to go home to dinner (which I had to cook :( ). When I turned 30 that all stopped, I could no longer eat what I wanted, I am now 3.5 stone heavier (have lost a stone lately) but I actually fit the clothes I can buy and am a happy size 12. I eat sensibly (breakfast was muesli with fresh picked raspberries :D) and try not to gain. I think the idea of being a size 8 again in pie in the sky because I do a lot more exercise now than I did then.
