John Oliver made some amusing comments about the independence issue on Last Week Tonight:

At least we can laugh!0 -
I think it will be no.
If it is yes I believe Scotland will end up regretting itThe world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0 -
I think it will be No by a small margin. I'm voting No, but I won't be losing any sleep if it's Yes. Interestingly, quite a few of us on both sides are like that - voting one way but not overly worried if it goes the other.
Far too much scare-mongering going on!. . .I did not speak out
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me..

I think Scottish Independence will be a sad and tragic day for every single person in Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Every single one of us will suffer.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -

Every single one of us will suffer.
I think initially at least its indisputable that both an independent Scotland and the remainder of the UK will suffer. The value of the pound will drop for the UK and Scotland will have the cost of setting up their own country and possibly their own currency, depending on if they adopt the Euro or not.
Would be interesting to see how it panned out over a longer period.0 -
I think it will be a no but I think the damage has already been done and Scotland will be gone within ten years.
The vitriol poured out from the nationalists towards normal English people in particular has been quite shocking.0 -
I hope it is a NO vote because I would like to think that the Scottish people are intelligent enough to vote NO0

I care about Scotland, which is why I have voted no. But that aside, whatever the result, I hope there's no trouble tomorrow night. But I have a feeling there will be.0
