Perhaps that will be the legacy that the whole of the UK will take away from this vote; that if you really want things to change then you can't rely on your neighbour to make it happen -and you get the politicians you deserve ?0

!!!!!!! Scotland generates way more money than it receives. Way more. Wales, Scotland, the North of England, the South West of England, the Midlands, all pay into the centralisation of the South East of England.
Stop believing the carp fed to you by the media.
I'm curious, where are you getting your information from?0 -
I thought no. I hoped no. And it was no.

Just a side issue the basis of the yes campaign (as I understood it) was that Scotland was rich enough in oil -and lets be honest if it wasn't for oil then Scotland wouldn't have even entertained the idea of independence (which is why I find the issue of welsh independence so laughable)
Now given the issue of amazon, starbucks etc finding loopholes not to pay UK tax, why wouldn't -or couldn't -the oil companies do the same and potentially drop Scotland deep in the doggy do?0 -
I think Scottish Independence will be a sad and tragic day for every single person in Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Every single one of us will suffer.
I think if it was four countries united together as the United Kingdom they wouldn't have been seeking to break away.
Even talking of independence rather than separating spells out the relationship as a parent (England) & child (other three) rather than united together as partners.0 -

Not pulled an all nighter in years, by 11am that old familiar feeling started to creep in that reminded me of my clubbing days!:rotfl:0
