Whatever the outcome is, Alex Salmond has effectively split Scotland in half considering how narrow the margin is, turning neighbour against neighbour. I hope he views it as worth it in the weeks to come whatever is chosen.0

I don't mind people knowing what I think. I really don't want them to go. And so I think what I think the result will be, is being swayed by what I want.
I hope - and think - that the NO side will win.
I hope so. I want us to stay a United Kingdom, and will feel sad if Scotland leave.
I have a feeling or foreboding in my bones though. I hope it's unfounded. I want them to stay with us.

This concerns me too. Over two and a half million people (half the population) don't want to be independent from the United Kingdom.
I have family and friends (6 adults and 4 children) in Scotland, who moved there 8-12 years ago, who say that they will move back to England if the YES campaign win. I have heard many more people say the same. Including people born there.
It seems the YES campaign are so dead set intent on getting their own way, that they are forgetting that half the population of their country does not want independence. But they care more about what they want, than the fact that over two and a half million people (HALF the population of the country,) do not want to leave the United Kingdom... It's all very sad.

You seem to be missing the point that half the population of Scotland want to leave the UK.This concerns me too. Over two and a half million people (half the population) don't want to be independent from the United Kingdom.

But half do not. My point is that all these people who are so desperate to leave are not giving a second thought to those who want to stay.
The lives of the people not wanting to leave will change forever, and they will have no choice in the matter.
But if the NO side win, nobody's life will change.
I am just finding the YES side rather selfish.0 -

Excellent blog here on what the issue has been in terms of the Yes vote.
It frustrates me the way they have just dismissed any criticism (see earlier posts) out of hand instead of actually addressing the issues.

This ^^^
The 'yes' campaign are really getting on my nerves just lately, and it's making me think JUST GO THEN. But if I am being honest, I do hope Scotland don't go.

I will be very glad when this is all over, whatever the outcome, so we can get on with rebuilding whatever is left. I don't think this has bought out the best in either side to be honest.:A
