But half do not. My point is that all these people who are so desperate to leave are not giving a second thought to those who want to stay.
The lives of the people not wanting to leave will change forever, and they will have no choice in the matter.
But if the NO side win, nobody's life will change.
I am just finding the YES side rather selfish.
Most of my immediate family can vote, I cannot. Most of them are voting "yes". I don't think they are being selfish, they have a vote, they want to use it in the way they feel is best for them. I don't agree that "yes" is best, just as they don't agree that "no" is best. Its a straight decision between 2 options, so whatever happens, as its such a predicted close call, half the population won't get what they voted for. Such is the beastie that is election. Its not selfish to use your vote in the way you see fit.
I also believe that the people outside Scotland who are saying they will boycott Scotland/Scottish products because Scots are showing that they hate the English/rest of the UK are being swayed by the ridiculous bias of the media.
In my experience, Scots who didn't hate the English/rest of the UK before the referendum was agreed to, don't hate them now. Those in the minute minority who are bigoted and dislike the English because they are English, still will, and will still be bigots.0 -
The odds are going massively in favour of no.0

If I was in Scotland I'd be voting No, but I hope it's a yes and they stop whingeing and sod off because the thought of more money being thrown at them if they stay, meaning even less for the rest of us (particularly us in Wales) makes me feel very miserable. I think alot of them are mixing this up with a general election vote and reality will hit home that this is for keeps now!!! I also think that the UK as a whole should have had a vote as it affects everyone, not just the Scots.
Although above everything else I'll be glad to listen to the Jeremy Vine show, and watch the TV news again without having to listen to Scotland, Scotland, Scotland.
JxAnd it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end0 -

I have to admit, I will be glad to hear the end of it... well if it's a No vote.
If it turns out to be a Yes vote, it'll be a year and a bit of bickering between Westminster and Holyrood.0 -

The only problem with a no vote is that we'll have to go through this same charade again in the next five or six years. If it's a yes vote then the blanket coverage will no doubt continue.

How did you work that out? The cost of setting up your own currency (or even joining the Euro) will cripple Scotland for some time by which point the companies may well have already left.0 -
Whatever the outcome, I think we all have to brace ourselves for days/weeks/months of analysis and raking over the past!
I'm glad that there has been such a huge turnout - I'd like to see that level of turnout for all elections! That's a plus point.
On the less positive side, I'd agree that - certainly in the latter weeks - it has become quite divisive.
Let's hope that - whatever the outcome - we can move past that.0 -

I object to this statement. Its incredibly insulting to the 46% of voters (as it stands) who have felt strongly enough to have voted yes.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0
