So how many people that signed up on the 5th have received a welcome pacck yet? I have recevied nothing, but when I called I was told it can take up to 14 days!!! 14 days to send out a pre-packed welcome pack!!??

I got a booklet type thing welcoming me and thanking me for the order after about 3 days. Do you mean a welcome pack that includes a wireless router?

I got the welcome pack next day and 2 days later the router arrived but I am on AOL and AOL Talk already.
Got a letter today (5 days) saying my laptop will be within the next 25 days.

Well, some sort of official correspondance would be nice!! I'll be on the phone again tomorrow then. They took the £14.99 OK though

Same here 14.99 taken from bank already bit of a cheek I think! only had welcome pack and letter today to say we will be live in 10 days and then 25 days for laptop,so why take 14.99 now? must be adding up all the 14.99's. Still will have to wait and see.

Ive received several letters from AOL and the laptop booklet but no sign of the router yet and its supposed to go live in 2 days.

Hi,

I placed the order on the 5th and received a receipt and pamphlet a few days later. I have had an automated telephone message telling me that the AOL talk phone service will kick in on the 20th. Yesterday I received my router plus a letter telling me that I will receive confirmation of my broadband within ten days.

Does this tally with everybody else? Am I missing my screen name? or is that something others are also waiting for?

When I plug the router in the little 'i' lights up and when I run the easy installer CD it appears to connect as far as AOL but I then need a screen name. It seems a shame that the broadband appears to be live but I have to wait ten days just to get my username and password.

I havent got a username and password either? might give them a call later.

If you're sharing the connection and any more than one of the users is aged <30, then 40Gb is nothing.

In my flat when I was a student, myself and my 2 flatmates were regularly getting reprimanded by Demon broadband for exceeding their 50Gb fair use policy.

I'll admit we had a thing for downloading TV shows though. Not everyone does that.

AOL / Orange. Blahh. Don't trust them.

I was given my screen name and password when I called up to provide my MAC code, ive had it for weeks now but I dont have a router yet !!

I ordered on the 4th !!!
