When you are about to switch over to AOL for calls bt will send you a letter saying how sorry they are your leaving them ect and give you the 4 digit number to put in befor you call same as 18866 ect.
I am not going to go for it any more as when i phoned up aol they said my line was only 1.5 so to pay twice as much and run a the same speed dont make the offer seem so good even though i would get a laptop.
No offers for me as im on the cheapest package and the fasted spead i can go.
Can anyone tell me of a site where i can check the speed my broadband is running at pleaseNumber 4 due 21st jan0 -
From their website:
"Pay As You Go (inclusive with Wireless Plus unless you upgrade or opt out)."
How do you opt out? I went through their online ordering process but was not given the option to opt out so can't understand how this is supposed to work. Has anyone ordered by phone and asked to opt out of their PAYG AOL Talk??Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????0 -

AOL is cheaper on all counts as far as I can see
1) Their 6p connection charge for each call.
2) The face that you can not use overrise numbers which would give you free calls (0p/min) on BT and very cheap calls to mobiles and international numbers.Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????0 -

Apart from two small things:
1) Their 6p connection charge for each call.
2) The face that you can not use override numbers which would give you free calls (0p/min) on BT and very cheap calls to mobiles and international numbers (see MSE's call Checker Tool).
You can still use over ride numbers?0 -
ive just ordered this how long does the laptop take to come and how long long before i get the router
thanks0 -
i suspect you may actually be to late now, if i remember correctly orders were limited to the first 100,000 orders. i ordered mine on the day the promotion was started and have fears over recieving the laptop? No reliance should be placed on the above.0
