You get free technical support calls to AOL Member Services*, competitive rates, and there are no additional monthly subscription charges for the phone package, so you only pay for the calls you make.
Evening and weekend calls can be included from just £32.49 a month, or subscribe to our unlimited calls plan from just £34.99 a month**.
Same email as I got, so I can have their deal for £10.50 + £34.99 a month or my current unlimited reliable Virgin 4MB + BT + Primus + 1899 for £18 +£10.50+£0+£2ish
That's a difference of £14.50 a month. Over 2 years that's £348. I suppose I'm on the borderline. If I really wanted a laptop I'd go for it. If I made more overseas calls I wouldn't.
And can someone explain the "from" in the last 2 figures quoted by CPW? Are the deals £32.49 & £34.99 or not?
Cheers

I ordered mine last nite online and its on its way to me it says, went for basic 20quid a month and free laptop, i have AOL at home but have to pay 30quid a month for the free laptop when i only pay 15quid already for platinium, luckily in uni in Nottingham i can get it for 20quid...something about some LLU broadband areas depends on price. I hope the laptops good!!!0

Had a look at their Pay as You Go package, jeez that's a rip off.
60 Minute Evening Call - BT Option 1 = 4.5p AOL PAYG 4.25p + 1p/min = 64.5p
Similar story for weekends
Crooks

Hi All
Seems like carphone warehouse are giving away a free laptop (they say worth £450) with people signing up to AOL broadband through them:

£19 a month for the broadband so seems pretty good, I'd just be sure to check out the t&c's carefully.0 -

Did you order online or by phone? How long did it take?
I just ordered online but my credit isn't brilliant. How do you know if you have been accepted? I got a text confirming the order but no email yet - did you get instant confirmation?
Sorry for all the questions, I'm impatient!!0 -
