I have not read or seen anything to this effect. A relative has already got thier mac, so that would be too late for September. They registered but have notheard anything. Hence my question.

I've just been on the ole blower to AOL, giving it the old, think I want to leave talk and was offered this,

apparantly AOL have bought out carphonewarehouse, and are offering the deal via thier site. £19.99 per month (platinum package) only downside I can see is that it's a 24 mnth contract.

Yes, when I was on the phone to AOL the other day, they told me the deal will only be from September as that's when the laptops will become available.

I needed to call AOL as I was having trouble installing broadband. The guy asked what the problem was and I told him. (Old computer, more hassle than I was prepared to have) He told me there was an offer coming where you sign up for AOL broadband, £19.99 per month & you get a Dell Laptop. This is with the Carphone warehouse. There's a pre order list there and you can't change the specifics of the laptop, but it may well be of interest to some people
