Free Laptop with AOL now! (merged)

Not saying it's a good deal as I haven't had time to look in to it but AOL are offering a free laptop if you sign up to them for 2 years;

    Better spec laptop and better broadband package for an extra £5 per month.

    I'm on Wireless broadband from AOL and haven't had a problem with them. I know not everyones experience with AOL has been as stress free

    I have been an AOL user for 18 months and I think they've been great. No disconnection problems, always reply to my emails and never take more than they should from my bank! Also I like the parentla control software built in to their user software - it always works. I have applied for this even thopugh I bought a laptop 6 months ago.

    Sounds like a good deal, but if you download a lot of stuff the 40gigs a month allowance may not be enough.

    If I hadn't just signed to a new 12 contract a few months ago so would I.

    One thing to check Mike is the price plan they have you on. I was paying £17.99 for silver for nearly a year even thought the price had dropped.

    It beats the heck out of the 2gb with the other offer. 40gb should be ok for everything but video downloads
