Anyone got a link to the Dell website with the laptop specs? (or a guess at what it will be)

That looks like an OK laptop!

I used AOL years ago and moved away because you couldn't share the internet connection very well between 2 computers. Is that better now? Are there any other issues with using AOL compared to other ISPs?

The offer says this does not apply to people in their minimum contract period. We've been with AOL for about 4 years - does this mean I can apply?

    EDIT: Applied anyway, lets hope!
    Dooyoo £10.40/40, TopCashBack £17.19/30, Valued Opinions 50p/£10, Swagbucks 0/£20, Ebay £15/£25

Its for a wireless setup so it will come with a router that should allow a few pc's to connect at once

Not sure if you will have to cancel your existing contract or if they will just let you sign on for an extra 2 years but you can definitely apply unless you have just renewed a contract to get a better price or better equipment.

i had terrible problems when i was with aol (contract ended january). i found the aol software to be extremely tempremental, constantly crashing. also their billing department messed my direct debit up so many times, i ended up going 6 months without paying and then obviously owing 6 months to them!

It beats the heck out of the 2gb with the other offer. 40gb should be ok for everything but video downloads
Absolutely, which is what I do loads of. Time to sort out the wireless network on my laptop. :)

With their wireless setup you don't have to have the aol software on your computer at all
