Morning. Just chilling out before going to work. Doing 12-8pm today and next Monday also.

Yesterday was quite gruelling (9-6), but I feel okay. I've got the hospital on the 10th November, so I'm going to see if all this work has taken its toll on my health. I think in a way it might have done me some good. I must do quite a few miles walking around the shop (I'm tempted to get a pedometer to see how many I do in a week) and I'm walking to work sometimes (I did yesterday and will be today), which is a 10-15 minute walk. I'm hoping to see an improvement on my lung function.

We had a little competition on Saturday to see who could sell the most Christmas ornaments (just little light up things we have by the tills). I won and managed to sell 12 during my shift (we're not always on the tills, so I think I could have done better if I was on there more). Not sure if I get a prize or anything (doubt it) as my boss wasn't in yesterday.

So tired, but I've got a day off tomorrow :j. I'm going to chill out and watch a movie on Netflix in the morning and then visit my mum in the afternoon. Will try and get a few surveys done too.

I've been asked to work 2-8pm on Tuesday next week, so I'll currently be doing 28.5 hours so far next week. This week I am doing 30.5.

A great result for Andy yesterday in the final in Vienna. I expect you missed it by being at work (or maybe you have the technology to see programmes at a time of your choosing). I'm only sorry he had to beat David Ferrer:( but he got his own back for David beating him (was it in Shanghai?) the other week.

Thanks CBC. I didn't see the match, but I was on my break for part of it. I kept an eye on the score and was just going back to work when Murray lost the first set. I wasn't hopeful, but had a nice surprise when I got home.

I hope Murray and Ferrer can both qualify for the World Tour Finals - they definitely deserve it.

If he's dashing back to watch her in person I hope it will be worth it. She's doing the Charleston and somehow Judy Murray and a goofy, quirky dance don't exactly mix:eek:. She's lightened up a lot but still seems very inhibited and stiff. Still, all credit to her for giving it a go:T

I know, bless her. I admire the way she flung herself off the stage on Saturday though!! I don't think she expects to win at all and is surprised she's still there.
