We didn't go and see The Judge last night after all. I wasn't feeling great (still not now) and it's a long film, so we skipped it. I probably would have fallen asleep anyway.
I've decided to shelve the website idea for now. Just don't know if I've got the time and energy to dedicate to it right now.
For October, I'm going to concentrate on earning some money and Amazon vouchers for Christmas. I failed miserably at the £10 a day challenge this month, but will give it another try. Also want to get my council tax arrears down.

Sorry you are feeling under the weather, Emz. A good idea to give the film a miss.
Did you ever get to see the Billy Connolly film, I can't remember the name of it:o, something to do with holidays? Haven't seen it myself, only one cinema within 15 miles of us and it hasn't been on there yet. Was hoping to see it after seeing so many trailers for it on TV but have read mixed reviews in the papers. Can't get 'free' tickets so what with the cost of entry plus petrol going to the cinema is a rare treat:(0 -

Hi CBC
It was What We Did On Our Holiday and we didn't get to see it. OH had to work late and I didn't fancy watching it on my own. I couldn't live that far away from a cinema. They're building one literally down the road from us (5 minute walk away) so I will be in movie heaven when that opens.
Hope you are well

(been watching the tennis this morning/afternoon - Murray just won a tricky match).0 -

Hi CBC
I couldn't live that far away from a cinema.

We live that far from everything:mad:. The joys of living in the middle of nowhere (NOT):(
Andy is on a roll at the moment. I was so pleased for him when he won the title at the weekend.
Did you see his Mum on Strictly at the weekend? The poor thing was trembling with nerves and is not the most graceful or natural of movers.0 -

I don't tend to watch Strictly and was at work on Saturday. I watched it on YouTube though. She did look nervous bless her. Shame it's not happening in the off-season as I'm sure Andy and Jamie would be there supporting her if they could.

Survived the evening shift. It wasn't too bad and I'm not back in until Thursday evening now. Still not feeling great. Just really tired and groggy, like I've got a cold coming on but it's just lingering there and not coming out properly.
I think I did a silly thing and booked my flu jab for 12.15pm on a Saturday when I've got to start work at 2pm (receptionist wasn't that helpful with other appointment times ). My arm is going to be aching and last year I had a reaction to it where I went really cold and came over all tired. Still, if this cold comes out then I won't be able to have it anyway.
Anyway, just finishing off my evening meds and heading off to bed.
Night everyone

Afternoon
Well, my OH is dying. He had a 'migraine' this morning (a headache in other words) and says he has a cold (which I'm sure will turn into the flu by the end of the day), but he soldiered on and went to work anyway - such a trooper!!
I've started off my £10 a day challenge with a £20 win from bonus bingo funds. I'll pay it off the council tax arrears when I get the money next week.
I've also claimed a £10 Amazon voucher, but won't count it until it comes through.

So tired. The cold is coming out now, but I managed to stay at work today and yesterday. I'm not back in until Wednesday evening, so I'm looking forward to a couple of days rest. OH is away tomorrow night too, which is even better
