Hey Buffy
I promise I will start turning down extra hours if it tells on my health.

You will all be so proud of me. I was asked to work 7am-12pm on Friday - and I said NO!!!!!
Although I did agree to doing an extra hour tomorrow (now 5-9pm) and 2 extra hours on Sunday (9am-5pm).0 -

Hi Emz,
Glad to see you're as determined as ever. As a fellow long time poster, I remember you from years ago, we are similar ages. Hope all this overtime is helping to throw at your debts and good luck with your bucket list. Think I may do one myself. XYesterday is today's memories, tomorrow is today's dreams0 -
Well done, Emz, on being so strong-willed and turning down the extra work:T
Probably just as well because I've just seen an M&S voucher code:
20% Off Clothing, Homeware and Beauty Online & In-Store
Expires on the 27th of October.
Might be very busy in the next few days:eek:0 -

Hi
Thank you. I hope all the overtime will ensure I can put a massive dent in the council tax arrears.

Hi CBC
I am pleased that I turned down working today. I'm doing 30 hours next week, so I think anything else I'm just going to turn down (unless it's just tagging on an hour or two onto a shift I'm already doing). My OH is away next week, so it will be nice to have a couple of days off (currently Weds and Fri).
I was speaking to one of the other girls that I started with last night and she was saying that she finds it hard to say no when they ask her to work extra. I told her I was glad that I had finally started saying no and that she would feel so much better when she does.

(Keeping an eye on the tennis - Ferrer is just about to beat Bellucci. Looks like he and Murray might be facing another rematch on Sunday).0 -
I've had a lovely day off. I went into town with my sister and nephew (he's got an inset day) and bought myself some much needed boots from M&S (£31.60 after my staff discount).
I won £10 on the free JPJ game this morning and immediately withdrew it and paid it off my council tax arrears (along with a £3 Pinecone payment).
I then naughtily cancelled the withdrawal so I could have a little go with it whilst doing my nebuliser. I've been playing with that original £10 win on and off all day - and have just withdrawn £250!!! So thanks JPJ, that will make a lovely dent in my council tax arrears!!

Wow! What a result:T:T:T
I know debt-busting is important (it's my own mission in life these days:() but you are doing a lot of extra work to do that so don't forget to treat yourself to something nice too. You deserve it:)
Re: Ferrer and Murray. I know David has beaten Andy a few times and that Andy finds him very hard to beat (and play). But I just feel Andy has the edge at the moment. He re-organised his whole schedule to pack in non-stop tournaments so he could get enough points for London. It means a lot to him so I expect he'll beat David in Valencia. But David lives in Valencia, I think he's a co-director of the tournament or something and it means a lot to him to win that particular one. Not sure where Nadal is in the final 8 but if he makes it I wouldn't be surprised if he pulls out because of his appendicitis. So if David ends up just out of the final 8 he might still be called on to fill the last slot in London.
P.S. Just seen this. Brilliant write-up about my favourite player, the comments from posters at the end are lovely:)
