Both dy$on filters dismantled for washing, and the rolllers cleared of long hair. *yuk* Just goes to show how often I do the filters - one of the spongy ones was missing completely! Clearly I've never bothered to wash it. *cof*
Whole house s/and/s-ed, with OH's help. Very productive day for us, although the RoD will take me all of tomorrow. *cof cof*
Ionafan Update on Challenge: First stab at dressing gown toile under construction.Better is good enough.0 -
Shopping done and put away, dinner and tea made, 1/3 of apples peeled, cored and bunged in slow cooker. My bedding washed, line dried and just now put back on my bed. Tidy time, jigsaws and baking done with littlies plus a bit of outdoor time - including putting DS on my shoulders to reach the highest apples. Oh and uniform etc ironed. Need to get bags ready for school and work, and sort my lunch for tomorrow. Kids are in the bath causing havoc. Need to retrieve them I think...Bossymoo

Flying has recommenced here.....my lovely free rhubsrd and BlackBerry pie was binned instead of portioned up for the freezer so I had something palatable to eat on coming home....the reason. ...ex mil didn't like it and said it was too sour for her taste......I didn't make it for her but I was being polite enough to offer her SOME! Grrrrr!
Main bathroom cleaned top to bottom. Dd4 carpet de pooed....ex thought it was a good idea to get her out of the bath and leave her in there with no nappy on for 10 minutes
Kitchen put back my way from all ex Mil reorganisation. ... Dd3 and exMil have done washing, I have flip flopped all my clothes DS and Dd4 clothes and re sorted stuff that came through with stains on for treatment and boil wash.
Dd3 has used my vax hoover under close supervision so it didn't get broken, so all downstairs hoovered except puter room/Dd1 bedroom.
Back on Daisy cow duty now GA out of my system, much to relief of Dd4 and everyone else who had been struggling to comfort her while I was gone.
Ex has now gone as I have been home 24 hrs....so I am now tucked up in bed and resting....apart from Daisy duty I am standing down for the day.
New fred later so I aim to keep lurking and keep up with dailies between us and see what else can be done.
Thank you one and all for get well/jaw fixing vibes..very much appreciated xxxThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -

done loads today! DH has been out on the roof cleaning the skylights and upstairs windows, I've been out digging some brambles out of the garden so I can empty the compost bin there to make it easier to empty the compost bin from the house (was full to the brim!). Convoluted, but you get the gist! 2 beds stripped, 2 loads of washing done including one of nappies. 3rd border done of my quilt (yay!) and a trip to sainsbos for a medium sized stock up of fresh bits - only had the buggy so was limited
DH has cleaned the car inside and out too. So all is good here.
Determined to get bathroom to baseline again next week.0 -
Ironing done
Shed painted by OH
2 sofa throws and 4xwm done dried outside
House henried

Another empty ironing basket here :T
I hate Sundays when my boys are away, I feel as though I spend the day restless and clock-watching, waiting for the time to go and get themThey're home now though and seem happy to be back, a lot better than the miserable Maurices I dropped off on Friday evening.
Everywhere is relatively tidy and clean so I feel as though I am starting the new week with a fighting chance of keeping up0 -
Good news Mum is home from hospital which she is delighted about, just hoping she does not try to rush straight back to normal, they kept telling her she was really poorly
Skinty glad you are home, tomorrow's list is to make you rest.
CY I hope your DD had a fab time at the run, an amazing achievement to even think about taking part.
Not doing much else tonight, too tired but hope to get some bits done tomorrow before going to get Mum's meds from the hospital and some food from the supermarket for her, she was supposed to be going on holiday today so had run her cupboards down. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
