    Good morning everyone.

Flying yesterday consisted of travelling to town to exchange clothing for DGD3. DD insisted she was 4 on her birthday but she is 5. Where do the years go. Then back to DDs.

Got home and started to update ipad not realising how long it took. So did a quick tidy.
Today I will be doing the kitchen and hoovering through ready for the start of the new week.

CY Good luck to your DD for her run.

    Skinny Healing vibes.

Dusty Healing vibes for your Mum.

Morning all. First cuppa of the day consumed. The rest of today will go something like this:

    Get chicken in slow cooker
    Breakfast
    Make fruit salad
    Wash up
    Gym
    Bath
    Walk dogs
    Hoover downstairs
    Make chocolate meringues
    Clean car
    Do gardening
    Walk dogs again
Anything else I can get done from the lists

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Morning everyone

Just sitting here thinking about the million-and-one things I need to do today. Kids are playing footie 35 miles away this aft and OH wants to stop off at the DIY superstore on the way and look at some lights for the kitchen so that will be most of the day gone.

There is quite a bit of washing to sort out and I have made a complete mess in the office by my first attempts to declutter. I did get rid of a bin bag full of shredded paper and some books yesterday.

What does everyone do with their kids old school books? I have put all of DS2s Year 7 books in the recycling - he is in year 9 now and has never looked at them. Felt a tiny bit guilty though for some reason - all that work!

Anyhow, off to get a shower and dressed and get some brekkie.

Good luck CYs DD, was the run today? sorry I cant remember. Glad to hear she is working too, fingers crossed I can say this about my DS one day.
  • Morning everyone ,
    Hoping everyone is ok.
This morning got an hour gardening in the front. That I didn't get to yesterday , HHI for work stuff for the week & dailies before being picked up at 12.30 for an after of dinner & chat with my family
Taking a doggie bag with me as us single Pringles don't tend to cook roast dinners too often
Have a lovely sunny & be good to yourselves at some point today

    Aww valli bless you.

Wishing you a gentle day dusty x

And Yaay for the decorating, deco making progress!

DS seems his usual self this morning. Said he will choose carefully next time... Bless him

I spent a little time in the spare room last night. I have a laundry bag of summer things to go in the loft, then I should be able to fit the bedding in the top of the cupboard. Seem to have a lot of duvets.

Then it's just a case of sorting my winter clothes. There is room in my wardrobe now but I could edit before putting them away.

Need a few groceries today. Sun is out so might strip my bed and get the wm going.

Hope you all have a good day.

LW, glad the citchen's done :).
CY, hope your kitchen's done soon!
Fizz, well done on the destashing. Maybe you'll get some pennies after all?
Dusty, hope your Mum improves quickly.

Busy day out for me yesterday. Went to the zoo with the cubs. Nodded off on the coach on the way home as I was so tired!
Funnily enough, none of the washing which I had got washed, dried and folded made it off the table. Need to get upstairs done today. That's going to be a task!
DH informed me last night that I had to get up with Lily as he's tired. Cheeky beggar. The reason he's been doing it is because I've been on nights and when I'm on nights, I've been getting sleep from 8:45-12 and 1/1:30-3:30. I'm knackered!
Need to Hoover downstairs as it's covered in bits too.
Best crack on now DS has got up so I can get dressed. Kitchen has already been done as that too was left from Friday evening. Pah!

WM1 on the line, WM2 in progress, been working my way through the pile of mending as CBA to do anything too energetic. DS3 up but all the others are still asleep. Trying to encourage the printer to print the gov stuff I need for tomorrow.

    *sigh*

I need to fling some more crap but my bins are full until a week on Tuesday and I have the rubbish generated between now and then to fling.

The kitchen has to be dehovelled today it is quite squalid.. I have a lasagne to build and corned dog to fling in the SC which requires sending someone for spudatoes, I used the last of them last night

I need to get laundry out while we have a decent day..

    Best shift myself
